Sadly , what started out as a great experience ended poorly . Upon check in, we were advised that the water and tea was complimentary. As such, we drank the water . We were going to throw the empty glass water bottle (think souvenir )away when our daughter suggested we take it . Since the water was complimentary , we said ok. They didn’t say “the water is complimentary but we reuse the water bottle “. Well we couldn’t be more shocked when we got off our flight now as we arrived home today and they messaged telling us they sell the water bottles for 25 euros . This information was not conveyed at check in. I cannot with clear conscience recommend a hotel where there is dishonesty and lack of disclosure .

We stayed as a family of four (two adults and two kids) at Villa Baxia. This hotel was wonderful. From the moment we walked into the reception area we were welcomed by a very friendly staff member. Check in was quick and they brought our bags upstairs for us. Our apartment was beautiful. High ceilings, beautiful decor and we had the most beautiful view. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed in the room. The area that the hotel is located in is fantastic. There are tons of restaurants, shopping, and attractions nearby. This is the perfect location to stay in while in Lisbon. We will definitely be back!!

The hotel was in a fantastic location. Lots to do and see in walking distance. The hotel staff were very polite and the hotel room was beautiful and accommodated my family of four perfectly. Added bonus the views from every window were picture perfect. Would stay again.

Great hotel. In the middle of all the action in Lisbon. Close to all the major sites and within walking distance to Rossio train station. Anderia at the front desk was very friendly and made out stay very enjoyable.

100% would stay here again. Location is central to everything: shopping, groceries, not too far from Alfama or Chiado, easy access to transit if needed, the place is clean and spacious and it felt like a home away from home.

A Wonderful Stay! We had a fantastic experience during our stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. Ameen, who greeted us warmly upon arrival. He went above and beyond by providing helpful local area guidance and tips on how to navigate to nearby cities, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The hotel boasts great views and is situated in a centralized location, making it easy to explore the area. Everything was within walking distance— restaurants, shops, and attractions were all easily accessible. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. This was a pleasant place to stay and all staff were helpful and obliging. Good position in city within easy reach of everywhere. Comfortable bed and good bathroom and shower pressure. Would say that if people were large with a lot of luggage perhaps a bigger room than a studio would be appropriate, as accommodation is quite small.

The property was clean and centrally located. We arrived just as the blackout began. Luckily our driver, Paolo was there to pick us up. When we arrived, the elevators were not working because of the blackout. That did not matter because their team, including Ameen & Katia. They helped to take our luggage upstairs. Three flights!! The front desk team including Bruna and Andrea were super accommodating and even booked our private tours. We were a party of three and it was quite comfortable. Would def recommend this hotel.
