Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa

Very nicely designed interior, helpful and friendly stuff, great spa

Wonderful city made all the better by a great hotel

I wouldn't go as far as saying 5 star hotel. I enjoyed the location because of the convenience of using the buses. Pool was ok but needs ambiance. I was also napping with the do not disturb sign hanging and some one came in my room! It was a strange feeling after that.

After 13yrs Portugal is more beautiful than ever! The staff at the Sheraton is probably the best employed staff of any hotel in the world!

only thing is that internet is not free and this is not ppossible in the 21 century

The hotel is very good. The Shearton in Porto is better. Better probably because it is newer. This one is nice. Pleasant personnel always with a smile and ready to assist you. Some of the pleasantries of life (wifi) are really expensive in this hotel and should really be supplied without cost to the visitors. However, I probably would stay there again if I go to Lisbon for another holiday. Really convinient location to the subway, bus and taxi transportation. Easy walk to the the port and the old section of town. Harder to go back to the hotel as it is all uphill.

The Hotel is well located, the staff is great and the room is beautiful. This is certainly a place I will stay again in a next visit.

Short stay. Food was good in ground floor restaurant. Had several vegetarian options which surprised me. Bedrooms have amusing glass walled bathrooms. It felt quite Japanese in design to my eye. Lifts are a bit small but typical of Portugal. Nearby mall great for cinema, simple eats and buying clothes or presents - a short walk away.

expensive hotel restaurant cuisine and mediocre food. Restrictive in-room internet service.

It was fairly close to a major art museum, but not in a neighborhood thats fun to walk in We took the subway to other area in the city. The hotel seemed to be more in a business area. I would not recommend it for those who are there for pleasure.

Very friendly front desk, wonderful accommodations, excellent restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, helpful concierge.

Very modern, clean and comfortable hotel. You can still walk to the center of the action in Lisbon.

Front desk staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, room was extremely well appointed and very quiet. The bed was insanely comfortable, I slept ten hours a night straight through. Spa is terrific although you can't use the pool for free if you're on a basic package, it's about US$15 per day which includes access to a giant whirlpool, wet & dry saunas & relaxation room so it's worth it. I had a body scrub, vichy shower and aromatherapy treatment which was better than any I've had in New York.

The room had a king size bed, but was overall quite small for two persons. When we arrived there was only one bathrobe and one pair of slippers and we had to ask (twice!) to have them sent to us. Also there were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving kits, sewing kits and cottonbuds, things that these days you come to expect to find in any good 3 star hotel, even more so at a 5 star one, like the Sheraton. We stayed 6 nights and the carpet in our room was vacuum cleaned only once, after we requested it. On two occasions we came back to our room at night to find that there were towels only for one person and on one occasion there were glasses for one person, no tea and coffee sets at all and the trash can hadn't been emptied! Finally, on checking out, the concierge informed us that there was a "spa fee" in our bill and that we had been charged for a coke, even though we never got near the spa and of course hadn't drunk the coke (the latter was probably a mistake, on account of the mini-bar being fully computer-checked, strange as it is, since we didn't move any item in it, for such a mistake to happen). Eventually we didn't pay for the coke or the spa fee, but nonetheless this situation -on top of everyting else and at 6.00 a.m.- was quite frustrating. In fact the only good comment we can make is for the people at the reception, who tried their best each time to right the wrongs, but is that enough for a hotel with the reputation of the Sheraton?... If we ever visit Lisbon again, we'll be sure to stay away from this hotel...

This is a very beautyful hotel with very nice rooms, the breakfast was too expensive, but across the street there is a Mall where you can find anything.

I chose the Sheraton because I knew what to expect. Coming in from the US on a long flight, I wanted a comfortable bed and a clean room. It was not just comfortable and clean it was really nice.

Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa is a beautiful hotel, with great facilities. Unfortunately, you have to pay for using the pool, which was a bit of a nuisance, but the friendliness of the staff compensated for this. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the location was very accessible by subway (metro) and taxi. I look forward to my next visit!
