I had a great stay at Santa Luzi B&B. The location was amazing, close to the water and surrounded by so much local culture that really stood out during my trip. The building itself was beautiful, and the rooms were just as nice: comfortable, charming, and well-kept. Overall, everything came together to make my stay really enjoyable. I’d definitely come back.

Extremely Disappointing Experience From the moment I arrived, the service was unacceptable. The receptionist was in a bad mood, unfriendly, and frankly quite rude. I had booked a room with 2 beds — one for me and one for my brother — and specifically selected a double. Instead, they gave us a room with one full-size bed and refused to change it. I also booked with breakfast included, yet the receptionist declined to honor it. On top of that, I’m an Expedia VIP/Rewards member, which means I’m supposed to receive basic perks like complimentary water bottles or small amenities. I received absolutely nothing. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and failure to honor what I paid for and what I’m entitled to is unacceptable. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.

Daniel was so helpful even before we arrived in Lisbon and very welcoming after a long delay at the airport. The rooms are very small and a little tired but spotless, a very comfortable bed and the best power shower ever! A little more storage would be welcome but other than that, a fab place to stay. For the price, we thought Santa Luzia was perfect for our long weekend in this fabulous city. Lots of lovely places within a short walk for the best breakfasts (they do them well in Lisbon!) and a great location within Alfama.

Very clean and lovely room but the biggest problem was bringing cases down from the 4th floor down a narrow staircase with no lift. Location was very central for the old town but busy with narrow streets and narrow pavements. Breakfast was good but in a very small busy room.

We had a fantastic stay! The airport shuttle was perfect and our host was amazing at helping us plan tours and with everything we needed. It was so convenient to the whole Alfama region. The bed was super comfortable. I could’ve used a dresser or a rack to put our suitcases on. We ended up using the little table to dump everything, including our toiletries on.

AC was excellent and kept the room cool. The balcony windows were very well sound proofed and I did not hear the street when I closed the windows. The area is very close to the Santa Luzia view point and some nice restaurants so the location itself is great. Breakfast was nice and was provided at the hotel across the street. Check in was with the hotel across the street and the staff member was very kind and helped with bags across the street to the hotel room. Staff were not present in the Santa Luzia B&B but were very close across the street which was fine by me. However public transport can be a little bit of a pain as the main tram which goes past the hotel is tram 28 which is always crowded and difficult to get on. There were no safe, fridge, or teas and coffee's facilities in the room housekeeping was also lacking. Overall a good stay if you are looking for a good, safe location but overall just a place to rest your head.

I liked everything about it. The atmosphere of alfama, the staff, the room was very clean and the ambient lighting was a nice touch. The only thing that would have been nice is if the balcony was a little bigger to accommodate a couple of chairs and a table. Allowing a view of the vibrant street with the trolly cars running down below ,

It was a really nice room, very easy check in and great communication. Location was perfect with only about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Lisbon. The breakfast they provided was also really nice. The only issue was there was no mirror in the bedroom and tue aircon was very loud. Overall a great stay.
