First, let me say that the apartment itself was clean and comfortable...but there were no instructions on how to work anything - washer, AC, appliances, etc. Also, in several areas it was not as described in the ad. Not really "downtown" - but rather in the oldest section of the city Alfama - and a hilly 10-15 minute walk to attractions, including the Castle of Sao Jorge (they say it's 2 mins., Maps says 8 mins.). "King bed" was really a queen. The listing shows is "outdoor space" and lists a deck or patio - the apartment overlooks a patio, but we had no access to that space. The listing states the TVs have NETFLIX and 150 channels - when I inquired about the NETFLIX password I was told "guests usually use their own accounts for streaming" and wasn't given a login. Additionally, the TV in the living room had no tv channels, only the one in the bedroom functioned properly. I made the host aware but got no solution. Internet went out on the second day of our stay and was never fixed. I was told I'd be updated and never was. We admittedly lost the extra key to the secondary lock (there's a code to enter the building and a lockbox to the apartment - this was an extra key to the inner door). We offered to pay for a replacement key (as the key had no identification or key ring and the building is secured separately, they said they'd charge for a new key, but then wanted to bill me 80 for ONE KEY. Overall, nice place, not what I thought I'd get here, wouldn't stay again
