Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of Lisbon's Old Town Alfama. Very convenient location for many restaurants, bars and shops. Amazing infinity pool looking over the rooftops. All the staff were absolutely brilliant, so helpful and professional, but a special mention for Rubee, Thais, Gabrielle and Monica. Rooftop bar is a great place to sit and enjoy the view. The Fado night was so much fun and we really enjoyed the food and wine. Thank you for making our trip to Lisbon so special 💗

Nice hotel with a lovely rooftop. The rooms were small. The breakfast was too expensive to be worth it. I waited 30 minutes for a coffee on the rooftop and eventually had to leave. The front desk was present but pushy.

My husband and I stayed at Memmo Alfama for our honeymoon in Lisbon, and it was the most wonderful hotel experience either of us have ever had. The staff were extremely attentive and polite, they made our entire 8-day stay feel special and celebratory. The food and drinks offered by the Hotel restaurant and bar were out of this world, the views were unmatched, it was unbelievably quiet given the fact we were in the middle of Lisbon. It's in a beautiful, walkable, historic neighborhood in Lisbon and there were no shortage of activities, restaurants, cafes, pastries, for us to explore while we were there. 1000/10 will be back!

The Rose that is Quinta de la Rosa

Quinta de la Rosa is exceedingly well run. The experience from check in to check out is just wonderful in several languages (meaning they easily accommodate speakers of multiple languages). The restaurant is excellent. Food delicious, service superb (we especially liked Bruno). Pool is lovely. Design and view of the river. Will go back. Finally, the wine is very strong Wine Spectator has rated many in the 89-91 category and for the price this is super. Loved many but the Touriga Franca single varietal bottle was surprising.

A very nice, quirky boutique style hotel. We were probably slightly unfortunate in that our room was right next to their breakfast room and so it got a bit noisy from fairly early in the morning. As we were only staying for three nights we decided not to bother asking to switch rooms. There was nowhere to put our suitcases and clothes storage / hanging space was quite poor. Great roof terrace overlooking old town Alfama though.

This would’ve been an excellent stay except the AC stopped working and there was zero communication with us about it after we immediately flagged the issue when we checked in. I had to go to the front desk in the middle of the night when our room was nearly 30 degrees and ask for a fan, which didn’t help much, even when placed in front of the window. The place itself is cute and location fantastic. We appreciated the city tour that was included. The breakfast and service was mediocre compared to everywhere else we’ve stayed in Portugal.

Memmo Alfama is a charming boutique hotel in a great historical area of Lisbon. The staff welcomed us warmly on arrival via Uber to the front door. A quick tour of the property was provided by our hostess who exhibited great enthusiasm for the hotel, its architecture, the convenient location, the neighborhood, and the available amenities offered. The view from the terrace encouraged exploration of this unique area of Lisbon. A short walk on a cobblestone street led to the Main Street where local shops provided great opportunity to purchase authentic Portuguese-made products suggested by our hostess in the hotel lobby. I walked out of one shop with an in- country manufactured bedspread loomed in traditional patterns. The day ended eating pasta in a little neighborhood restaurant after walking steep hills with great overlooks of the Tagus River! Can’t say enough about this wonderful hotel!

A little gem with a breathtaking view

Staff were so amazingly helpful from before we even arrived and just a joy during our whole stay. The hotel is full of character, history and stunning design elements. The rooftop pool and eating area are breathtaking. Fantastic location (be prepared to walk as it’s a hilly city). Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are small but you have everything you need. Highly reccomend.
