The property is central, within walking distance of major attractions and just a 2-minute walk from the metro, which makes commuting super easy. This is a safe neighborhood and well-lit at night. The only drawback is that the neighborhood is full of tourists and restaurants, and it can be noisy at night. It didn't bother me, but it could be annoying for some people, so be aware of that! Other than that, it's an excellent place to visit in Lisbon.I'll stay again!

Overall, great place to stay for the price compared to other places in the area. Really close and walking distance to the water, rue Augusta, Rossio Square,. Only thing was that when coming in at night, the automatic lights would not come on going to second floor and the lights in apartment area only go on when you’re fully in the area so you are in pitch dark for a bit which can be a little scary not knowing or seeing if it’s safe or anyone hiding since there are a few apartments in he building. Was told there’s a light switch somewhere but would have been nice to know before and can’t see when it’s dark

The property was central and very nice. It had a lot of stairs to get to the unit so beware if you have large, heavy luggage. Luckily my luggage was small, but it was still a bit of a challenge with the stairs. The unit was clean and served its purpose.

The suite was roomy and complete with dishes, cutlery, and cookware. Linens and bedding were great. We had difficulty checking in after hours, the machine in the lobby wasn’t working. However, a staff member came right over to let us in and sent us a way to pay via an online link. The location is within blocks of Arco da Rua Augusta (ornate 18th-century arch) and the east entrance to the Baixa-Chiado metro stop, in the heart of Lisbon. However, it’s not a quiet place: Street noise starts around 9:30pm and goes until 2am, and footsteps from other apartments were bad a couple nights. Climate control was a problem: The mini-split AC unit spits out black particles on the sofa and anything you put on the sofa. Management claimed that happens only when the unit is run too much, and advised we turn it off when we leave for the day. It was clear to us the unit needed cleaning because the same unit in the bedroom did not spit out the particles when running the same hours. I have a mini-split at home and they do require routine cleaning. These old buildings can get hot during the day when the A/C is turned completely off all day. Street noise prohibited sleeping with the windows open.

I booked this apartment through Expedia. The price I agreed to pay on Expedia was not what the hotel charged me. I was forced to pay more, as I did not want to walk around the city trying to find an alternative stay on the evening I arrived. Expedia also communicated to me that a deposit had been charged to me prior to travelling. However the hotel had no record of this. Although the apartment was fine, I would never book through Expedia again with them. Expedia representatives were telling me that I would get the excess cost back as it was a deposit, but I did not. No idea if this was an Expedia issue or a hotel issue, but was not ideal trying to deal with it in the moment.

Living Lisboa Baixa Apartments are in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the city. However, the apartment itself could use some improvements in terms of maintenance and comfort. With a bit of updating, it could be a fantastic stay.

Property was in the perfect location , comfortable clean and everything you need . Right in the middle of all the restaurants etc.Biaxa metro station was 200 yards away, easy journey from Lisbon Airport approx 40 mins on metro and cheap. Overall it was in the perfect location to get around Lisbon .

Communications were extremely poor. We had communicated that we will arrive after 6 pm. They provided instructions for auto check in which did not work. I followed the instructions to use the credit card several times. I tried calling them with no answer. Finally reached someone via by ringing bell next to keypad on the outside. Told us the place to find the key with our name on it. Apparently, no key with our name. It had several two keys with same name of which one was for our room. Meanwhile my credit card got blocked as I had tried to use it previously in the check-in machine. They wanted me to make the payment in the morning when someone is at the property after 9 am. We had a day trip starting 8 am next morning. They have consideration of guest time and inconvenience caused by lack of their communications.

This property is only a few blocks from the river and within steps of two trolley lines and two subway lines. We had a bit of difficulty checking in and the staff is not around 24/7. While we were there, there was major construction going on in the building next door but work never started before 8:00 AM.

Great location only 200m from Baxia-Chiado metro station. Small but well appointed and functional self-contained apartment. No drawers etc. to unpack so you will live out of your suitcase. Reception staff very helpful which was necessary due to a faulty apartment entry door lock that needed some tricks to open. Very small lift but did the job. Overall we were happy with this property.

Great location and comfortable accommodations. Everything was exceptional except the communication. While they did contact me via email and WhatsApp before our arrival, that was it. No documents in the room for Wi-Fi or that they were switching from A/C to heat only. While we loved our stay, wish their communication was better.

This was an amazing find. Were found in a very central location to all the historical sites in Lisbon. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful with decorated tiles, comfy beds, and bathroom with stone floors. Had a small refrigerator allowing us to store breakfast items and water we picked up from the nearby Mini Preço Express. Only negatives were some initially poor communication, very bad wifi (we were on the 3rd floor), and difficulty checking in after hours using the machine. I attempted to confirm the reservation after multiple attempts of email, but did not receive confirmation until 3 days before our stay. After this, we received the WhatsApp number and communication was fine after that. We at after 7:30 PM, but were unable to pay for our stay. After calling on WhatsApp, we learned it is because the machine wants to ask us for a PIN, but US credit cards do not have one. They were able to issue us a temporary key and allowed us to complete payment in person the next day with credit card. Overall, I highly recommend this for any traveler!
