We stayed in this hotel on Thursday 5th October as we missed our connection to London due to technical problems with our aircraft from Madeira. The staff were exceptionally helpful to us. We needed to get to a pharmacy nearby, but we didn't realise it was a public holiday. The head receptionist checked online for the nearest one and gave us detailed directions. They helped us with a rather irate taxi driver too. There were lovely complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and robes and slippers to relax in. We ordered room service and the food was very good. I wish we could have stayed longer but we wouldn't hesitate to return to this excellent hotel.
To stay at this hotel in Lisbon was a very positive experience, the employees were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel and the rooms was nice and comfortable and the breakfast was of a good quality, so all in one I can certainly recommend this Hotel.
We went to this hotel for the second time (as first time was good) On this ocassion, we were three people: one of us have a problem with our back, we not normally complain but this time we had to: the beds were so hard, room was close to the elevators and was really noisy, so the following day they changed us for a better room but they did not apologize. However, the beds were still hard. As for the breakfast buffet: few choices and the typical orange juice tasted as if it was gone. Fruit salads were alright, no brown sugar at all. It was not appealing to dine in the hotel, so we had dinner somewhere else.
Nice rooms, but inconvenient for business traveler as they don't have irons for guest and do not provide ironing facilities. They expect you to pay everyday 6 or 7 euros to iron your clothes. They say they don't do this for security reasons (killer argument). Evey single 4stars hotel I visited sofar had guest irons or at least a room where guest can iron their clothes.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, in July. The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds, large bathroom and very good breakfast. The hotel is adjacent to a metro station (Praça de Espanha) and lots of buses around, but is also quiet, you don't hear anything from outside. Highly recommended!!
I gave the "romantic stay" in a hotel as a Birthday present. Generally, it was nice, the breakfast was very good, the bed was very comfortable. However, I wanted to order a Birthday cake in advance, so I put it in a comment during the reservation, but the hotel did not confirm it or contact me back (during more than one month). They wanted to solve the issue at the reception, but I had solved it already myself one day before arrival. Moreover, we both agreed we didn't feel to be very welcomed. The reservation via the website of the hotel was good, there are only few bugs (mix of English and Portuguese in English version, wrong dates in description of the romantic stay, etc.). An update would be nice. :)
I recommend this hotel as it is on good location easy to get transportation like metro buses very good size room witb king size bed and it was clean and well furnished. I stayed for 2 nights with free freakfast .
The hotel was great. On the first day when we arrived a groom took charge of our luggage and it felt great like a 5 five stars hotel. He took care to show us everything in the room and setup my phone with their free wifi. The room and bed and furniture were really clean. The bathroom was clean too but felt used like old and it got clogged really fast from the water and soap only . The breakfast room was too small to welcome everyone at the same time so you could wait in line to have breakfast and this felt strangly awkward. But the room nice and comfy and the food were excellent. Only one incident got me upset. A local we met a beach cooked for us the day before our departure and i called reception to let them know in the morning that we were expecting a package. When i call in the evening to see if we received anything a man was obnoxious and told no. When we came back at night i asked the same question and didn't check before saying no. Basically we left at 3 am and his night shift colleague told us that he was wrong and handed us the package but i was too late to enjoy any of it so we had to trash it at the airport. This got us pissed of. But overall the hotel and its services were great quality, the metro almost at the entrance of the hotel and there was a bus central station. I'd recommend to anyone.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Right on top of the metro stop. And parking is included for free when you reserve on their website.
We stayed at this hotel after coming in on an overnight flight and the hotel we were staying at was sold out and could not provide us with rooms on arrival. We were traveling as a family and needed 2 rooms where we could sleep, have breakfast and to shower and not spend a huge amount of money for the 3-4 hours we would be there. This place checked all the boxes. I emailed ahead to say we would be arriving very early in the am (so they wouldn't think we were no shows) and asked for 2 quiet rooms near each other. I walked in the lobby at 7 am and they addressed me by name and had the rooms ready just as expected! The staff was great extending us an additional hour past the 12 pm check out time and also offered to have us go to breakfast while they were completing the paperwork. Not a fancy place but clean and got the sleep we required and a decent shower. Only complaints would be breakfast was mediocre and the hotel is situated pretty far from attractions if you are making this your home case as a tourist.
