We chose it based on the reviews and all the good reviews were correct. To start with the hotel has an excellent breakfast, It is well located just above the metro station from where you can go easily in any direction. You can also just walk from there to nearby restaurants, or just for a stroll in the park. The windows are well designed so there is no street noise in the room. Rooms are small but have all what one might need for their stay.
Stayed here for 2 nights but was ideal for the short stay in the city. The room was standard but big enough and well cleaned. Although not located bang the downtown area, there is a metro underground station right outside the hotel which takes you there and is only around 5 minutes to the main town centre. The transportation links are excellent here as there's a taxi rank and a bus stop across the road. The hotel is directly on the main street so the road can get a little noisy but was fine for me as I slept well. Breakfast was continental and had a good variety and choice of hot and cold foods. Reception staff were polite and helpful and the service was excellent.
Well placed by Alalmeda Metro on red line from Airport and green line to town centre. Friendly helpful staff, very clean good sized room. Cafe on the corner, post office nearby.. Looking over a park at the back of Castello.
This is a basic hotel. Small rooms, nothing fancy, clean and neat looking. The location is good and right next to the "Alameda" underground station, some 10m away by underground from downtown. The price is slightly high for what is offered also considering that there is not much to do around.
The hotel is right next to metro stop Alameda, very convenient fir a vist to ITS and the city. Bathrooms are a bit old, but with goid showers, the beds are great, the rooms are quiet (even when facing the road) and breakfast is just fine.
Very convenient for the Metro. Less than 10euros taxi from Airport. Clean rooms. Enjoyed the breakfast. Perhaps not enough staff at that time. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful Gave tourist information. Lisbon is a lovely city. The people are friendly. Catch the train to Estoril and Cascais. Lovely coastal ride. Nice shops in Cascais. We hired a tuk tuk. Haggled the price. Was well worth it. Lady driver very informative and stopped for us to go and view things. Time Out market near the main station is worth a visit
Stayed here three nights before travelling back home. Staff very helpful and clean hotel. However, our room 706 fronted into busy streets and as the air conditioner did not work we had to open the Windows and it was impossible to sleep. There were no maintenance personell available and staff did attempt to fix problem but not successful. The Metro was convenient and we found it easy to navigate.
Very friendly multilingual staff! It is modern, so perhaps not as charming as other choices, but a very clean, comfortable and affordable. The included breakfast (with coffees, teas, fruit, yogurt, granola, toast (and pastel de nata!) was convenient, allowing us to get out and about without searching for caffeine and breakfast. This location is near the Metro trains, as well as a the Avenida da Liberdade with it's many shops & restaurants, São Jorge Castle and much more.
Although not in the center of Lisbon, the hotel has wonderful location, immediately by the metro station. Rooms are bright and spacious with distinctive Portuguese touch, good beds, good quality of sleep. Buffet breakfast is great with wide choice of everything that a guest could demand for his/her breakfast diet. Recommendations. The only negative part is a bit too noisy toilet tank.
First, excellent staff! Very helpful informative and nice. Second, the location is great. There's a metro stop right outside the front door that allows you to get nearly anywhere you want to go. Was really convenient. The facilities are more less basic but clean and functional. You really don't want to spend the day in the room anyway so a nice hot shower/bath with good water pressure and comfortable bed without spending a fortune. Breakfast options in the onsite restaurant are comprehensive and pretty good as well. Stocked minibar, room service available and decent wifi through the property- including the rooms. I'd stay again
