Hello Lisbon Rossio

Appartement super bien situé dans le quartier Rossio. Proche de toute commodité et a 10mn a pied du centre. On a été surclassé et du coup très contents car l'appartement était nickel et bien équipé. Négatif : ils pourraient renouveler les serviettes et les draps qui avaient des tâches bien qu'ils étaient nettoyés. La communication est difficile par contre surtout si vous ne parlez pas portugais. Si vous parlez anglais ça va. Plusieurs erreurs dont le double prélèvement de la somme (remboursée dans les 72h quand même), informations contradictoires, le code envoyé pour accéder à l'appartement n'était pas le bon (alors après 12h de trajet en voiture et une arrivée à 1h du matin vous avez juste envie d'aller vous coucher), appel a plusieurs reprises mais on a finit par avoir quelqu'un et enfin accéder à notre appartement. On a dû contacter Hôtels.com a plusieurs reprises avant le départ pour faire le lien. Heureusement que tout le reste était nickel donc on a vite oublié ces petits désagréments (faut se dire que l'erreur est humaine). Je recommande tout de même car on a passé un super séjour et l'emplacement de l'appartement vous permet de tout faire à pied et de découvrir Lisbonne qui est une ville magnifique.

I liked all the windows that gave a bright airy feel to the apartment. The last two blocks up the hill were a challenge at the end of the day, but those very hills are why one goes to Lisbon - you can’t have it both way. I loved the place.

Would not recommend. Although good location, matress had signs of bed bugs. Kitchen was advertised as self catering, but didn't have plates. Would spend a little more for a different place to feel comfortable and clean.

This particular flat was clean and spacious. Location was, however, not the best. Wi-fi seems available but they don't bother to let you know the password to connect despite several attempts to get in touch. Overall a good stay but customer service could be much better.

To be honest the apartment very clean and nice bed, I was amazed of the quality of the property, the only thing I would recommend from the owner is to improve the Wi-Fi quality there because it was really bad and I had to purchase my own internet to do my work. Otherwise I really recommend you to book this place. Well done good management.

More or Less Comfortable

The apartment was a about 2 km away from the "action", which I knew when booking. However, we expected a few more "comforts" - there were 3 very thin towels provided for showers, no kitchen towels, hand towels or bath mat. There was no washing machine, which is more often than not provided. We were offered a clean and fresh towels after the 3rd night so that helped, but we didn't know to expect it. We really weren't prepared for a drip coffee maker. Espresso is what we drink and we didn't expect to downgrade in Europe. A simple stove top espresso pot would have been ample. The neighborhood was loud at times and there were many arguments. At times the wifi was weak. Pillows old and need replacement. The couch is covered but old and saggy. I can't imagine getting a new one up those stairs! The apartment was fairly spacious, with a dining table and living room area and we had at least 3 windows with Juliette balconies. There is a partial view of the April 24th and Christ monument as well as the water. Well, not my favorite place but not awful either.

A very bad experience!

In the documents, the flat was described with view over Lisboa. What I got, was a flat on street-level. Only view was to the street right outside the door. It is obvious that this was another apartment than I can see from the pictures on the documents that I got before my journey. The air was very bad, and since door and windows was on street-level, it was reduced possibilities of circulation of the air. When I tried to phone the owner to complain, I came to a number that was not functioning. There should be access to internet, but there was no code, so therefore I had to manage without. In addition to all this, the flat was full of cockroaches. All in all: A very bad experience.

L'appartement que nous avons eu se situe au rez de chaussée de la Calçada Castello Picao, ce qui ne nous avait pas été précisé. Il ne correspondait pas non plus aux photos qui apparaissaient sur le site. La rue très typique se situe dans un quartier très agréable et elle est très animée, les gens y vivent et… y parlent beaucoup le jour et jusque tard dans la nuit. Ce qui peut être dérangeant vu que l'on est obligé de laisser porte et fenêtres ouvertes selon la chaleur. L'appartement est spacieux mais pas lumineux et mériterait un petit coup de neuf, une déco plus cosy… histoire de ressembler aux photos que le site diffuse. Côté propreté rien à redire, un bon point aux serviettes de toilette qui ont été changées dans la semaine alors que le site ne le précise pas. Le personnel passe dans la journée sans avertir. Côté communication, vérifiez bien que le site vous a envoyé le code d'accès 2-3 jours avant le départ. Le nôtre nous avait bien été envoyé mais n'était pas le bon… L'équipe est très réactive par mail, par téléphone aussi mais il faut parfois ressayer plusieurs fois avant que quelqu'un décroche. Si c'était à refaire ? Dans le même quartier oui, mais pas dans le même appartement.

Ótima experiência em Lisboa

Tive uma ótima experiência como minha hospedagem. Inicialmente, fiquei preocupado com as avaliações negativas. Contudo, as condições gerais do quarto (limpeza e mobilias) estavam muito boas. O fato de não haver uma recepção física, deixou -me preocupado no início. Mas que não atrapalhou em nada a estadia. Não há elevador e a escada é muito estreita e íngreme. Se tiver bagagens pesadas e grandes, a subida será difícil. Não tivemos qualquer problema. Felizmente. A localização do hotel fica em um bairro com muitas ladeiras. E pouco iluminada a noite, mas não pareceu ser inseguro.

Terrible cleaning and noisy at night

Location is ok. I checked in at 6pm but the room not cleaned yet. I keep calling till they pick up and I have to wait for cleaning. The whole building are belong to this company so there are many guests walking around the whole night and the wall so thin that you can hear the sound surrounded the whole night. Towels were not provided so I have to call again asking for towels.

Schreckliches Apartment mit Schimmel

Ich habe für eine Freundin und mich das Economy Apartment gebucht. Bereits vor dem Check-In gab es Schwierigkeiten, da der angegebene Code nicht für die Tür, dafür für die Tür an einer anderen Hausnummer funktionierte. Als wir in das Apartment hineingingen, fiel uns direkt der sehr muffige Geruch auf, der bereits nach einigen Minuten ein Kratzen im Hals verursachte. Nach einer kleinen Inspektion stellten wir Schimmel im Schlafzimmer, im Bad und in der Küche fest. Es war allgemein nicht sehr sauber, alle elektronischen Geräte funktionierten. Die Fenster und die Tür waren annähernd ebenerdig, sodass man die Fenster auch nachts nicht offen lassen konnte. Nach mehrfachen Telefonaten mit Expedia und dem Besitzer des Apartments konnten wir dieses dann einen Tag später wechseln. Die neue Wohnung war um einiges besser. Die Apartments sind in einem Einheimischen-Viertel gelegen und es wurde nachts auch ein wenig lauter. Jedoch ziemlich gut gelegen, man konnte zu Fuß oder mit Bahn/Bus ins Stadtzentrum fahren. Trotzdessen würde ich dieses Apartment nie wieder buchen.

Bastante bom

Apartamento bastante giro e moderno, tem de se subir um pouco até ao edificio mas nada de mais. A cama fazia barulho e o wifi no quarto tinha pouco alcance. Mas de resto foi bastante bom, e os trabalhadores foram prestaveis qua do tivemos dificuldade em abrir a porta.

Nada que ver con la realidad

Los fotos que se anuncian en los web de expedia nada tienen que ver con la realidad. El llegar y no encontrarme con las estancias que esperaba supuso un chasco para mis vacaciones, ya que era incapaz de estar en el apartamento que carecian de ventilación, y donde se respiraba humedad y mal olor. Ni a mi peor enemigo recomendaría el portugal ways lisbon city.

Positives and negatives

The apartment building is up a steep hill, and a noisy bar is just across the laneway. Check in can be difficult if there is a problem with the pre-sent access code. Management does not answer phone calls, despite giving a contact phone number. The actual apartment was comfortable. The first afternon some Russian guests drank for hours, wandering in and out of the building, leaving the security door propped open. By evening they were shouting and arguing, then the police arrived and forcibly removed one of them. The arguing then continued in the laneway outside. I tried to contact management by phone and online to question safety and security but they did not respond. I didnt feel safe there and although it was reasonably priced I would not recommend it as a good place to stay

Simples e não cuidado.

As fotos não mostram a realidade. Lugar não está internamente tão novo. Falta reparos e manutenções. Barulho de pessoas em outros quartos e em cima do teto pisando e conversando alto. A faxineira/limpeza queria entrar antes de fazer o checkout, 30 minutos antes. Não tinha sabonete e nem shampoo para banho. Chegamos cansados e precisávamos tomar um bom banho e não tinha como nos limpar corretamente. Lugar em um alto do morro, difícil acesso à pé aos pontos turísticos.

Séjour sympa. Appartement correct, très bonne communication avec le propriétaire, très réactif au mails. Éventuellement changer les photos de l'annonce qui ne correspondent pas exactement à l'appartement que nous avions, mais sans doute à un des autres à côtes. Tout de même identique à quelque détails près mais c'est important je pense de montrer les bonnes photos... Bon séjour dans s l'ensemble dans une grande ville très dynamique mais agréable avec du charme parfois et de beau quartier...
