We had an amazing time at Dare Lisbon River when we stayed there at the end of August of 2025. The location was what we needed - close to everything, easy to call an uber or take public transport, and having a great coffee shop downstairs. Breakfast was simple, elegant, and top quality. This was the vibe we really wanted over some big-chain soulless hotel. But what truly made it stand out was the staff. The service was absolutely exceptional. Huge shout out to Iris who made our experience among the best we've ever had in a European city. She was extremely attentive and helped secure us an amazing tour of the city, and she (among others) was there for us for any need we had. Amazing place and we'd love to be back one day!

Everything was lovely .. we had a hard time finding the door for entry on arrival .. but we quickly figured it out. Bathroom was tiny but clean, and served the purpose . Right across the street from the Time out Market if that’s your scene . Great tacos at street level in the same building .

This property was perfect. The room was beautiful with great views (little bit of construction views but still nice). The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even prepared breakfast for me even though I had to leave very very early in the morning. Location was great - very close to the Time Out Market and other great restaurants nearby. Great hotel!! Location is awesome, right across from Time Out Lisbon which is a gastronomical delight. The staff at the hotel are so kind and helpful. They genuinely wish to help you. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean and the right mix of modern (plumbing) while holding its historical charm (large wood plank floors, wood shutters). I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lisbon.

We loved our stay at Dare Lisbon River, even though we were only there for 1 night. The location was perfect for us. It was across the street from Timeout Lisbon and was 1 block to Cais Do Sodre where we were able to get the tram/bus to Belem and the train to Cascais. The staff was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. The original artwork throughout the hotel was lovely. Our room was small, but had a separate sitting room. We had a view of the river. The bathroom was tight, but adorable and had everything we needed. Everything was immaculately clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. They gave us a bottle of wine and a T-shirt in our room, but we could also get glasses of wine in the lobby anytime. There was a nice selection for breakfast including freshly made eggs. We loved our cheese omelettes. They stored our luggage for us while we toured on the day we checked out. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to Lisbon.

Amazing stay in Lisbon! 10/10

My sister and I had a great stay at Dare Lisbon! The hotel was recommended a few times in a girls travel group I'm a part of, and I'm so glad it was. The location was great, the service was top notch (shoutout to Jorge for all the amazing recommendations in both Lisbon and Porto, and for being a smiling face every time we swung by the front desk), and the breakfast was an added bonus. The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. We loved the personalized welcome note and t-shirt (they came in handy - we actually wore them on the flight home since we were out of clean clothes!), and the constant flow of great wine. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Lisbon.

Couldn’t have picked a better place for our four night stay in Lisbon. All the staff were friendly and continued to offer wine on every visit to the first floor lobby. Breakfast was wonderful and the location was fantastic. If I ever make it back to Lisbon we will stay here again.
