Great location

This apt is right at the entrance to Castelo São Jorge, great location. Entry to this area is supposed to be prohibited by Uber or personal car. Ignore that, everyone else does. You can't park up there, but you can drive up to drop off your luggage. We learned that the hard way. Those 137 stairs at night with luggage were rough! The restaurant next door is fabulous, eat there and ask for Gabriel. He rescued us when we finally arrived and put us right at a table with wine and food. Thank you Gabriel! The apt has no AC so be wary if you will be there when it's hot. Fans provided which helped us immensely. And you can leave your window open and wake to a castle wall and trees, it's very cool. Floor to ceiling open doors are just lovely. The brunch place a few doors down is great for early morning coffee, pastries, eggs etc. Reminder, no WC toiletries provided, so bring shampoo and soap. It was really hot when we were there so at times it was a bit rough, however we really enjoyed our stay overall.
