Horrible experience. DO NOT RENT!

Our reservation was canceled on the day that we were scheduled to arrive at the property; right after we asked for the check-in instructions. We paid for the reservation more than a month in advance and were on our way to Lisbon when we received the cancellation message without an explanation. Only after contacting the property manager asking for a reason, we were told that there was a rupture in the bathroom that would require cutting off the water supply for at least 2 days. The property manager was unresponsive since the time we made the reservation. We think that if the cancellation reason provided was true, we would have been contacted with an explanation and an apology in a more timely manner. We were left stranded without a place to stay and had no help to find another alternative. It was a terrible experience.
