While only in town for one night, Pension Faber was a perfect place to throw out bags and go enjoy Cesky Krumlov. Milan met us at the front door and quickly checked us in. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also large and clean. If we ever make it back we would stay there again or recommend it to friends.
Very nice hotel in very old buildings. Steps away from everything you would want to see. Staff was all extremely helpful. A unique place.
We were really supprised at how much room we had when we checked in. It was rediculously spacious! We had a dining room which I don't know why they just didn't make into an extra room. There was no Kitchen in the room so I guess it really was a conference room. The bathroom was nice except there was no shower curtain. The breakfast was pretty good. They had great eggs! The only annoying thing was that you could hear drunk people singing and yelling at night which woke me up. Hardly the hotels fault.
Maybe some room photos look nice, but we were in the attic with minimum space, battered beds and a bathroom where you have to duck or bend if you need toilet. The carpet was the ugly office type grey. The wifi didn't work in the attic. There is no place to sit down if you don't want to wait for bus in your room. We were overcharged on currency rate too. Breakfast was good. I would expect this type of place for half a price especially at the end of season. As we walked through town we saw better places for same price.
