Very friendly and helpful front desk employee. He kindly helped us store luggage at check-out so we could attend a booked tour. He also booked us a taxi to take us to the bus station when we got back so we would not waste any time. He made our departure day so efficient!

the room was really nice, cookware could have been better a bit over used. also it would have been nice if the bar was open. breakfast was pretty good, room was clean I would stay here again. service was very nice. and the location was very good.

Great location with easy access to all you like to see in the city for your visit. My only negative was that the beds were all pretty hard, especially in the loft. But a wonderful breakfast the next day pretty much made up for it!

The hotel is well located and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included was good. However, the service was disappointing. First, we arrive between the check-in hours and there was nobody to welcome us. It was raining, we were hungry and we wanted to go visit the town, but we were stocked with our luggages. The wifi was not working (as it is only working in the bedroom), so we could not write to the hotel. We asked a local to call the number left on the door, but no one answer either. A bit more than an hour later, we found someone. She told us that we should have received an email with the number of our room (we did not). Next morning, breakfast was served between 8 to 10 am. 7 minutes before 10 am, when we were finishing our coffee, they closed all the lights. Also, no one was at the reception for checkout. For these reasons, we do not recommend this hotel. The town is very small, so every hotels are well located. You can definitely get better for the price.

Two Rooms and a "Closet"!

One of our three rooms we were given was very small with a bed that had to be crawled into and only a tiny window. Room 8. They paid the same and got that tiny, hot room as the other two rooms were spacious. Charmingly appointed. We could tell the whole house we were in was empty, we inquired about switching them to Room 12 by us, unoccupied! The afternoon reception person, Teresa, lied and told us the place was fully booked, no changes could be made. She didn't care at all. The next day when we checked out, the reception person that kindly checked us out confirmed the rooms in the house we were in was available, the switch could have been made. The rooms two of us had were lovely, great location. Not happy with Room 8 and reception being so uncaring and dishonest. Might be nice to consider adding air conditioning.

Position at the river. Easy short walk to Cloak Bridge (you can see it from window). Another short walk other way to the centre and restaurant. Very nice breakfast and breakfast room.
