The hotel is so charming and on the river. Amazing location. Hotel staff were very welcoming.

Hotel Dvorak is excellently located at the heart of picturesque Cesky Krumlov. The building is obviously historical, but the spacious rooms are renovated to modern standards (double glassed windows, modern bathroom). Staff is friendly, breakfast great. There is a lift. No A/C. The hotel has an inside and outside seating restaurant, the outside being a) on the main drag next to the bridge over the river (Moldau / Vltava) and b) at the back (around the building) next to the river - an absolutely fabulous spot with a view of the castle. Things to mention on the "to be mentioned" side: 1) The Czech penchant for having showers in the bath tub is also the case here. 2) from 9 am to 5 pm the town is *very* crowded (imagine NYC Times Square at New Years Eve) 3) If you come with a car you'll have to drive through this densely packed crowd and finally 4) don't rely on any navigation software to get you there, hail a taxi outside of the town and drive behind the taxi. Some of the Google-maps (directions) roads recommended by the app would barely accommodate a twin pram, but definitely not a car. Lot of the above issues are "Cesky Krumlow" issues, not hotel Dvorak issues, so overall: warmly recommended, worth the visit, be aware of the access issues. Get up early and enjoy the town before the hordes arrive.

stayed 2 nights very helpful sataff with parking. pleasant stay very convenient

We were really supprised at how much room we had when we checked in. It was rediculously spacious! We had a dining room which I don't know why they just didn't make into an extra room. There was no Kitchen in the room so I guess it really was a conference room. The bathroom was nice except there was no shower curtain. The breakfast was pretty good. They had great eggs! The only annoying thing was that you could hear drunk people singing and yelling at night which woke me up. Hardly the hotels fault.

you cant have a better location in the old town. for a touristy area, the food in the hotel is reasonably priced, quality is excellent, staff very helpful, rooms clean and comortable. views excellent, and there is beer.

Wonderful hotel and very helpful staff. They even called a taxi,at no cost to guide us from the hotel to their parking facility, and back. We had a huge room, view on the castle, tower and river.Cesky Krumlov is a charming place, right out of a fairy tale.

What an amazing location!!! We were given a large room right on the river and directly below the castle. Of all the rooms we stayed in on our 16 day trip, this was the best. The room was very clean, had WiFi, a beautiful bathroom, and the view was fantastic! We are pretty savvy travelers, so we didn't ask for too much help, but I witnessed the staff arranging transportation for other customers. They appeared very helpful.
