The room was clean and looked like it had updated furniture of nice quality. The bathroom water was hot with good shower pressure. Bathroom needs a little cosmetic tlc but all in all was in good condition. Room was easily warmed the very cold night we were there. Location was central to everything we wanted to do.

The room was clean, the water was fresh, the location was convenient.

Basic , but excellent, maintained well , friendly staff

The check in was handled by a young boy, 12-14 yrs old. When I asked for a receipt was told he needed to ask his mother. Upon return he said one would be available in about one hour. Went back next day to check out and found the door to office locked at 1030 am. The room smelled quite musty. I have asthma and i was having difficulty with the odor in the room. Went to store and bought Febreeze, sprayed the room and left. Was able to tolerate upon return. Beds were clean and comfortable but the blinds at the windows were terribly dirty and dusty as was the radiators. Very outdated, except for television. Breakfast was advertised as an amenity however there was no breakfast. The room was locked up and as I stated, no one was in office and it was locked in the morning. Would I ever return ? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Bed and pillows were comfotable. It was a quick 1 night stay.

Great place for a weekend getaway with my family. We will return next chance we get.

I just needed a bed for the night and this place was the cheapest. If you're looking for anything more than just a bed, look elsewhere. The housekeeper didn't even supply new mini shampoo bottles for our check in; they were half used from the previous guest! Ew.. Breakfast was pathetic and the breakfast room barely fit four people without tripping over each other. Worst coffee ever, stale cereal, stale mini muffins, previously frozen waffles, and bagels though I didn't see any cream cheese.

The motel is right off The. 93. There is a good breakfast restaurant across the street. Swimming pool is nice.

Minimalist, very inexpensive, but clean, functional, and very friendly staff.

woman at inn seemed to be put -off that we used an on-line site to pay our bill. Rhodeway included a heated pool which was not available. The room ws very comfortable-the beds were very high off the floor. Plenty of hot water, frig worked good. On Fri. 10/23 the temps at nite lowered to the 20's. We called for heat as there ws a thermostat in our room. The room itself was very airy, windows not installed properly, screens bent. Two flys borthered us throughout our stay. We were huddled beneath the comforter and a sheet for warmth. finally the heat went on, while only a fraction of what have seemed normal, we were still cold on Sat morning. Free wireless included but our cell phone would not work in the room. There were no movies and a handful of stations to watch on the tv. the tiolet worked very well but the shower was for minatures...claustaphobic. We asked to stay another nite ( til Sun) but the woman said everything ws booked and it wd cost us another $100.00 if she cd find us a room. We think she could have let us stay another night! Would not go back to that place again.

everything was nice and clean and updated only one problem the step getting into the room was high.

the hotel had a nice pool, good location. It was a great place and near most of the local attractions of NH

We were in the area for a competition at Loon during Christmas week and were pleasantly surprised to find an affordable property that was fairly close by. Office staff very pleasant. Appears property is being upgraded. Best hotel bed I've slept in in years!

This was a great place to stay and is conveniently located close to Loon Mountain. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. As long as you don't mind staying in a room that is slightly dated without too many amenities then this is the place to be. We skied for two days at Loon and just needed a place to sleep so this was exactly what we were looking for. The ten minute drive from the mountain to the hotel is definitely worth the savings compared to the prices of staying at the mountain.

My husband and I were looking for a good value for a one night stay in the mountains. We chose this motel for its price, location, and the included breakfast. The location was a short drive to the Flume Gorge in one direction and the Woodstock Inn and Brewery and Kangamagus Highway in the other so no problem with the location other than the fact that you will have to drive for dinner and other evening activities. Nothing is within walking distance. The restaurant across the street is only open for breakfast and lunch. If you're looking to eat in, there is a frig in the room but no microwave, so choose something cold. Our room was on the second floor facing the mountains and had two chairs out front so we and our neighbors spent some time relaxing there. The motel is worn and can use some maintenance inside and out. Though the small bathroom appeared clean, the "white" towels were no longer white, stained and not very appealing. The bed was comfortable, though if you're short, bring a step ladder. It was quite high off the ground. The pool was clean and the water not too cold and there are enough tables with umbrellas to make it comfortable. The breakfast unfortunately was a disappointment. The breakfast room is very small with only a few tables and no room to get around the food counter. There were packaged bagels, stale cereal, and packaged toaster waffles. We opted to leave without the breakfast and find a place on our way to our next location. We would probably choose a different motel for our next visit. As far as the sights, The Flume Gorge is worth the $15 entry fee. It's spectacular and you can spend as much time as you want enjoying the falls. The hike is not too strenuous and there are views at every point. We drove up to Echo Lake but were not planning to stay too long, just take a walk around so opted not to pay the $4 entry per person and head to our next destination. There is an overlook right before you enter Echo Lake. You park and it doesn't look like too much. Take a walk out onto the "road" bridge for a view of the river far below. If you're afraid of heights, beware. The view, the fresh mountain air, and the peacefulness were worth it. The Kangamagus Highway is a beautiful trip with stops all along the way. We especially enjoyed the Rocky Gorge and Sabbaday Falls. We planned to eat at the Woodstock Inn and Brewery for both the food and samples of the local brews. The food was delicious and plentiful and the beers we tasted were good as well. The outdoor seating is the way to go, especially on a crowded evening. The rooms inside were packed and stuffy so we asked for the patio dining. Much better spacing and the atmosphere with all the plants and flowers was perfect. Our waiter was very helpful and pleasant. All in all a great overnighter without the kids.

We had a one-night stopover on our way to go camping up north and chose this option. Typical motel setup on two floors. The front office checked us in in about 60 seconds. Our room was clean and quiet with working AC (if a bit noisy). Good night's sleep and nice hot shower the next morning. Free continental breakfast was a bonus! Overall a super value for the money.

This motel located on Rt.3 - near Franconia Notch State Park with all its amenities within a bicycle ride. Also close Lincoln town center (food, shopping) and Rt 112 (Kancamangus hwy) - planty of hiking trails start there. Motel room, bath, towels and bed were very clean. Well managed swimming pool. Friendly staff. I will stay there again next time we go hiking in that area.
