The place is so terrible, if you saw the room is annex building, run! It’s so noisy I can’t even sleep for 1 hr. And nothing was on this side. Days inn next to it is much better than this one

The main part of the hotel is fine, but the walk ways leading to the rooms on the second floor are questionable. I’m wondering if it structural sound. The beds are uncomfortable.

Although we prechecked in online, our room was not ready at 4pm. It was not cleaned due to short staff until 6 pm. So we went to the restaurant for dinner while waiting, and we were only offered a buffet due to 2 busloads of people came for dinner and hotel. You could not order anything off of the menu. Our room was clean and OK but when you sat on the commode it made a loud sound because it was not balanced on the floor. Very disturbing when others are sleeping. I would not come back to this hotel.

We were VERY disappointed!! Because we booked thru Expedia we were PUNISHED and sent across the street into a crap-hole of a room!! door was broken, safety latch dangling and unusable, smelly dark hallways, room was below average, large pieces of dirt and unknown broken bits still in carpet pushed up against the wall. we rented a camp site in a park so we only went to the room at night to sleep. Again, VERY disappointed!! Save your $$ and go somewhere else!!!

Gorgeous Area!

The matresses are our only complaint. Lumpy. Maybe they need replaced in the room we stayed in. Beautiful views. Nice walkway around the pond. Grounds well kept. Nice restaurant and bar overlooking the pond.

The food was mediocre especially the breakfast. The staff at the restaurant was really nice though- unlike the front desk. The room is one that resembles a motel- super basic.

This resort had some nice features--the main building and grounds are being mostly kept up. There were flowers decorating the outside of the main building, and the grounds were mowed, and the pond was pretty. The other buildings show signs of wear like pieces of siding cracking off, worn outdoor carpet, sagging wood. Also, there were lots of stumps around the property. Our toilet wasn't flushing/draining properly, and it took awhile to get someone there to fix it, but it was fixed. The fish I ordered in the restaurant was overcooked, but they re-did it to the proper temperature.

We have been to Indian head a few times over the last few years, and more recently, twice this summer. We have never had an issue with cleanliness until this stay. There was a hair curler in one of the beds, and a candy wrapper next to the trash. Also, at check in this time (and last month) there was one person working who was completely overwhelmed. The first time, I waited for 30 minutes to check in because of the line and the lack of staff. This time, I waited for 10 minutes at the desk until someone came out (I had to call the hotel directly to request someone to come to the desk.) Other than that great stay, grounds are nice, food is surprisingly good at the restaurant and the kids love the pool/hot tub/paddle boats!
