We stayed there while we went to the ice castles, it was about 3 miles away and maybe a five minute drive if even. It was pretty close to town, although definitely in the winter you would want to drive. The pool was really nice and we had it to ourselves in the evening. The breakfast was also pretty decent for a continental breakfast with waffles, breakfast sandwiches, that you could heat up, yogurt, bananas, some other grab, and go, fruits, tea, coffee, cereal, and those types of things. The room was decent enough for kind of what the cost is. We had no issues with cleanliness or anything like that. The room was slightly outdated, but nothing that caused any issues. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave, we heated up a hotdog for my son and popped popcorn at one point. The little balcony was nice, it was nice to have a sliding door, even though it was winter and although you couldn’t walk out away from the building from it due to the snow, you had a little area to be outside and sit if you wanted. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is because for me, sleep is so important, and the beds were just really uncomfortable. I can pretty much sleep anywhere and I don’t even know what it was, but we were all awake on and off throughout the night. Although I will probably admit, I would stay there again. Definitely convenient location, nice staff, good value.
