COULD NOT PAY ME TO STAY AGAIN!
This was probably the worst stay I have ever experienced. I reserved this vacation home well in advance as my family had been looking forward to attending an event at the casino for a few days. Unfortunately my father passed away & I needed to travel to Ohio to attend my fathers services. I needed all the funds I could gather to buy the tickets for my children & I to get attend my fathers services. I notified Keystone Vacation rentals immediately of the events that had transpired & that we were going to be needing to cancel our reservations as we would need that 800.00 back for the few days we had reserved. The manager was heartless & refused stating we would be charge more for a no-show. I asked for a higher up & he told me "I am HIGHER UP".I understand they want a 30 day notice if you need to cancel, but you cannot give them that notice if a loved one passes away. I even spoke with the Chamber of Commerce & they tried to call the Manager to plead with them & see if they would please return our money due to the circumstances, & they would not budge. I offered to provide the obituary, death certificate, & memorial announcement. My father passed due to Agent Orange in the Vietnam War & serving as a Marine for our Country. I feel like we were very much disrespected. Chinook Winds even reimbursed us.The whole time we were there, our hot tub never worked. I tried calling the office as we never had power for a day & a half and left numerous messages, but never received a call back
