centrally located, in San Isidro. Very small reception for such big building. I was given a massive apartment. very well appointed with panoramic views. Breakfast was ok. I had a conference across the street in their sister property so the hotel was very conveniently located. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was average.
Comfortable and affordable with a reasonably large room. Fine for a night's stop over in Lima. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety. The room was clean and the bathroom spacious, room service was reasonable. We stopped over in our way to Cusco and found it restful and pleasant. Overall I'd recommend it for a short stop over but maybe not for a longer stay.
My wife and I stayed here for only one night. It was our last night in Peru and I have to say it was a nice way to end our trip. The hotel was very clean with great service. The king size bed was very comfortable that allowed me to have a good nights sleep.
Would have loved to give a great review of this hotel but I can only say that their service and additional charges are way to high for a hotel which isn't the level of category it says. For example if you were to pay in local currency for any additional drinks or add-ons during your stay they bill you in soles (local currency), so for example if you paid them in local currency instead of USD they charge you an exchange rate which is far above legal market value. For this reason they are able to make more money and charge it to clients who aren't aware of it. Apart from the above was given a noisy room where you can hear every thing that happens on the street. I am a light sleeper and understand any good hotel must have adequate sound proof covering. Then there is an issue about their policies and if someone arrives to visit you they charge you an additional fee without mentioning to you first - when you have a suite you are entitled to invite family or a friend for a visit, but they didn't care about it and charged us nonetheless. Bathroom making a lot of noise and the room sounded like we are still on a plane. Never experienced a hotel of this stature with many issues to resolve.
I stayed here for two weeks & its was a very good stay. Staffs are very professional, helpful & behave very friendly. The breakfast menu is very good. WiFi is good & fast enough. Location is also very nice & calm during nights.
We stayed here in July 2015 for one night at the very start of cur honeymoon. We were moving on to Cusco the following day. It's a nice hotel, very clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. It's about 100m from one of the top Restaurants in Peru, Astrid y Gaston. Great hotel and we'd have liked to have spent more time there!
The place is ok, Rooms are fine but not for a 5 star hotel. I found decoration quite off fashion and service was poor, there wasn't even a bellboy at the time I was checking in. I wouldn't really recommend it.
Suites del Bosque is a nice business hotel with an excellent location in San Isidro neighbour , near to famous ASTRID Y GASTON restaurant . The rooms are very clean and spacious. Perhaps the only drawback is in restaurant. Breakfast is very poor for a 5 stars hotel and lunch menu is unvaried
I visited Lima for business and spent 2 nights in this hotel. Was very good located, near to the places where I had to visit. Services were adequate for the price I paid. The room was comfortable, I found enough space for work, very good free internet connection, the king bed was really big. Less than one block you can find one of the top restaurant at Lima even in south america, Astrid&Gastón. The breakfast was simple but enough to start the day.
I stayed in this hotel while traveling from Cusco to the states. I had an overnight layover and decided to take advantage of the local fare for one more night. It was a harrowing 50 minute drive from the airport, but touted as 15...not with Lima traffic! I checked into the room, which was a very spacious suite, complete with kitchenette and living area, bedroom and large bathroom. Many amenities, but also lacking! The bathroom was wonderful, complete with amenities. The kitchenette, however, didn't have anything...no utensils, not even a coffee mug (but neither was there a coffee maker, sort worked out ok!). There was plenty of hot water, and the bed (queen) was extremely comfy. The area's not the best to stroll at night, so I found myself stuck in the hotel. To go outside via taxi to a restaurant or to a market was a minimum US$8 charge...and no paying in soles. Through the night, there was a lot of street noise, as well as what appeared to be a dance party above my room. All in all, that was the worst part. I guess this could happen anywhere, and without being terribly critical, I don't think I would stay here again if seeing the sights or night time quiet are my priorities. I ordered room service, which was great! Kudos to the chef!
