I have stayed at this hotel before and never had a problem but my stay last night was miserable. I will sum it up. Right when we got there a drunk guy tried to come into our room and when asked leave put his arm in the door and dumped a whole beer on the floor after calling the front desk we were moved to a different floor. The kids got their bathing suits on and we went down stairs to the pool where the same man that spilled his beer on our floor was ( I was trying not to let him ruin my children's time by ignoring him) but he came over to try to play with my son, and I stepped in and told him to leave him alone and HE PUSHED MY 4 YR OLD INTO THE POOL because he was mad!!!! I went to the desk and he was told to leave. I just wanted to leave and go home but since I had booked through Expedia I could not get my money refunded so we stayed and tried to make the best of it. The guy came back to the hotel and was gone again before he could be told to leave again. It was uncomfortable that nothing was done and when I got my kids to sleep I went to the front desk and tried to explain how I felt, I was told to call Expedia and work things out threw them in the hotel and I can get a refund. The next morning I was told my refund had been denied from the hotel. I wouldn't of minded to even of got back half of my money. They told me I should of called the cops myself and handled the situation myself. It was the most depressing stay away from home to have a good time with my kids and hus
I mistakenly booked this hotel, as I thought it was the Holidome. Apparently that is now owned by another company. However, notwithstanding the mistake and the location of this hotel - it certainly met our expectations for our overnight stay.
Hardest bed on the planet. Felt like I was sleeping on a flat rock. Room had odd smell. Never could get temp regulated comfortable. Also scary to see all the recycle ur towels to save water signs .the scariest was the sign to put on the bed to let them know to change the linens..what if the prior guest didn't lay the sign on the bed....
Hotel was just ok. Clean enough and the staff were friendly and helpful but this is a holiday inn just off a major highway so expectations shouldn't be too high. Had to call several times to have the room cleaned but other than that the experience was pleasant. Staff in the restaurant downstairs were particularly friendly and helpful.
hotel was nice! If your looking for a good location stay here
There were some dents in the wall of our room, but otherwise a comfortable stay
Good rooms and swimming pool made for a nice stay. Though for the price and type of hotel I would have expected continental breakfast included, which it was not.
Overall the hotel is nice- I just had a few concerns. While dining at the bar inside the restaurant, I noticed a medium sized black spider crawling on the floor. This is something that can happen anywhere but for a 3 star rated hotel it's not something I would expect. My room was tastefully decorated and pleasant. I do however, suggest black out shades. The windows were covered by sheer curtains (one of then wouldn't close since the rod was missing) and the black out drapes only covered a quarter of the window on each side and wouldn't cover the whole thing. And my window was facing east...not the best set up for sleeping in. There was a small stain on the carpet and the drain in the tub would not drain properly so I had my feet submerged in water while showering.
Stayed in Lima at the Holiday in while my son went to colloege orientation at UNOH. The staff was great , courteous and helpfull. Only one unfortunate incident - when we came back to our room one bed was made and the other wasn't. The rest of the room had been cleaned up- weird!
