After spending 2 weeks trekking across the Andes, the Belmond is the perfect retreat to unwind, reacclimatise and relax before the long trip home to the UK. We strayed in a Junior Suite Ocean View which included breakfast and we booked the hotel private transfer to and from airport which was very reasonably priced. We were picked up and the car was very spacious Mercedes which included wifi which was very useful. We were welcomed on arrival and invited to sit down whilst we were registered. The rooms size was a very good size and very elegant with great attention to detail. The Breakfast is a has a very costimpolitan luxe feel, open and airy with all glass windows looking out onto the park and the ocean, there is an incredible selection for self service as well as menu to order from and excellent coffee. The bar makes very nice cocktails and the spa is perfect for a massage and facial are just what you need after spending 2 weeks in the mountains. Walking distance along the cliff scenic walk is the Larcomar shopping centre which has a good selection of shops and restaurants and great views where you can watch the paragliders True Belmond luxury and style in an unexpected location.
Ken at the Front desk could not be more helpful. Felipe and Migel at the Concierge deck were polite and knowledgeable when we asked for directions. Karina the server at breakfast was a wealth of information and not limited to the food. Fiorella at the bar was so helpful by suggesting what we should have in our "Box Lunch"! The flowers in the lobby were so welcoming. The room with a view of the Pacific was comfortable, A perfect place to end an amazing stay in Peru`.
This is one of the best Belmond Hotels. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are firm and comfortable. The concierge lounge is inviting and staffed by pleasant people. In fact, all the staff from front desk to bellman were gracious and helpful. A special thanks and recognition to Ken who was definitely one of the best and unforgettable persons in our trip, making reservations for restaurants, tours etc .Making us feel very good in every single way ,because whatever you want to do he is always one step up! The hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood of Miraflores and adjacent to The Larcomar Mall - a nice shopping experience.
Really enjoyed our stay here, huge rooms (all rooms are suites), and ours had a sauna and huge round feature bath tub that could seat about 6! Large breakfast selection buffet style, although some of the items had been left out for too long - eg crepes and bacon had gone rock hard under the heat lamps. Good quality ingredients however. The hotel photos make a big deal of the pool, however it is very small with only about 10-13 sun loungers. It was very clean however, and nice and warm! Great for a dip but don’t book this hotel for the pool. No hottubs. Fast free WiFi, and excellent car service - $50 to Airport and $14 around Miraflores/san Isidro area by bmw/merc. Overall an excellent city hotel, huge rooms, great views and service.
Amazing views of the water. Rooms and hotel are GORGEOUS. Breakfast also is amazing! Great place to walk around to see the water and shops/the close outdoor mall. Staff very attentive. Food gift upon arrival.
Stay here twice this year and last year. Everytime I feel very comfortable because the staffs here are very attentive and helpful. The location is great, close to good restaurant nearby and close to Miraflores city center. The standard of this hotel is very high and makes me feel home all the time. A bit pricey compare to other hotels in Lima but worth for an experience.
We decided to splash out and stay somewhere a bit luxury for our last night in South America. Wow!! Belmond Miraflores really set a new standard of luxury for us! Beautiful hotel and area of Lima, wonderful breakfast but most importantly to us was the excellent level of service. Could not fault it! Do yourself a favour, and book a stay here. And definitely take advantage of the hotel bar and take the Pisco Sour lessons with Andre. Awesome fun and would highly recommend! We will be back!
This hotel was booked by the tour company we traveled with for a trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu. We wanted to spend some time in Lima before the tour started so we booked for 3 additional nights plus the 2 nights that were part of the tour. We never regretted that decision. The service we experienced in the hotel was superb. The front desk, the bell/concierge desk, housekeeping, restaurant and bar all provided first class service. I would make a special mention of the bell/concierge desk and the help we received from Gerardo. The first evening we were there he walked us to a local restaurant which turned out to be excellent. We went there a second time during our stay. Breakfasts in the Observatory restaurant on top of the hotel, 11th floor, were excellent. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the Miraflores Park. The park is an attractive area for walkers and joggers in the morning and being located on the top of the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it was foggy each morning we were there, and sometimes most of the day. However, a few blocks inland and towards the city the sun was shining. We were told the fog was normal (this was in March) and there had been no real rain in Lima for 48 years. The Miraflores neighborhood is very nice and safe. From the hotel it is a short walk to the Larcomar Mall and Ave Larco shopping street. We also enjoyed walking to the Barranco neighborhood, along the cliffs from Miraflores. This is an older area with interesting shops, art galleries and restaurants. The center of Lima is several kilometers, definitely a taxi ride, but the hotel is in a great location with plenty to see and places to eat within walking distance.
The Belmond Miraflores is a great choice in Lima. It is a modern, comfortable hotel, suitable for business or vacations, in Lima's classiest neighborhood. The hotel is right on the Pacific coast, adjacent to a great park and shopping center. The breakfasts are excellent, including fresh, delicious pastries, served on the top floor, overlooking the incredible fog which surrounds you. Service is top flight. Lobby areas are beautiful and a perfect place for cocktails and visiting.
We arrived at the hotel at about midnight and found the staff to be wide awake :) and ready to assist with whatever we needed. This is a beautiful property with an excellent staff. To our delight, we were upgraded to a suite with a beautiful balcony and plunge pool. Everything about this hotel was top notch. Service, cleanliness, public areas, restaurant. The location is also a plus. The hotel is located right on the ocean front boardwalk and there is a beautiful park that is right across the street. The ocean and the park allow for beautiful views from the hotel. We didn't use the rooftop pool because we didn't have the time, but we did take a look at it and it is quite spectacular. I highly recommend this property!
