My husband and I came to Lima with one thing in mind: To eat at all the top restaurants and relax after a long trek to Machu Picchu in Cusco. And The Belmond helped make it all possible! From the moment we arrived, and the staff handed us delicious glasses of tea and towels, we knew we were in good hands. Actually, from the weeks even *before* we arrived we knew we were in good hands. We contacted guest relations and told them of our top restaurant quest, and, by the time we arrived they had hooked us up with reservations at all the top restaurants in Lima -- including Central. (Man, that's a tough rez to get!) And then there's the hotel itself -- the room was perfect and OH MY GOD THE VIEW! Their food is awesome. Their bar is charming. Their pool is gorgeous. Their spa -- from the treatments to the staff -- was grade A. Plus their breakfast buffet... man, I still dream about that set up. I have no doubt that The Belmond is the best place to stay in Lima. It's gorgeous and welcoming and one of our highlights from our epic Peruvian honeymoon. And you'll fall in love with the place the moment you book your stay too.

We loved the superior service we received at this hotel as well as the beautiful appointments from the lobby to the rooftop pool. Our room was spacious and lovely with huge windows. We also enjoyed the location as it was an easy walk to to Barranca and around Miraflores which are the two best areas of Lima. I'd highly recommend this hotel for at least two nights if you're visiting Lima.

This is a really great hotel. Location is great. The service is very good. The pool is small-ish but beautiful. The massage was excellent. And the best breakfast we had in Peru plus a great view. It is a really classic beautiful hotel. I’d stay here again if I come to Lima.

The Belmond is a beautiful hotel located adjacent to Parque Domodossola, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The hotel staff are incredibly cordial and fluent in both Spanish and English. I had two different rooms at the hotel due to our flight being canceled and had to stay an extra night. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are amazing. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of fruits, eggs, danishes, deli meats and cheeses, and cereals, as well as, some gluten free choices. The made to order omelettes are delicious. You can also order waffles or other breakfast items, like eggs benedict. The hotel offers free bicycles so you can ride along the bike trail that overlooks the ocean. There is a rooftop pool that is heated. There is also a free Pisco Sour class offered in the bar in the evenings. Overall, this is a great hotel in the Miraflores area.

We adored our stay at the Belmond Miraflores Park, the last of the 4 Belmond properties that we stayed in during our trip to Peru. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring on foot, or by the hotel's own luxury-car taxi fleet. We stayed on the concierge floor and enjoyed the lounge for breakfast, and afternoon coffee and snacks. The spa was beautiful and we had great massages. We swam in the lovely rooftop pool every day, and had one of the best meals of our trip at Tragaluz, the hotel's restaurant. The hotel offers really great activities, as well, and I greatly enjoyed the opportunities to 1) learn all about Pisco and how to make the perfect Pisco Sour in the pretty hotel bar, and 2) visit a local market with one of the hotel chefs. The over-the-top hotel service,chain-wide, is unparalleled. While we went to Macchu Picchu (see my review of the Sanctuary Lodge), we stored our luggage at the Palacio Nazarenas, where we began our trip. Upon our return, we found one of the wheels was missing from our suitcase. We continued to Lima on our all-Belmond trip, and were amazed to find a brand-new suitcase delivered to our room shortly after our arrival. Well, Belmond gained customers for life. Thanks for the amazing trip!!

Belmond Miraflores Park is a beautiful hotel: lovely, spacious rooms, exquisite breakfasts up on the top floor and a charming bar and library area. Had several excellent family and individual yoga sessions and massages with Freddy. World class, professional, caring and truly the best physio therapist I have ever experienced. Even wanted to see mri results to ensure he was providing top-notch service. Recommend Freddy for outstanding service! Hotel staff are very caring and go out of their way to deliver excellent care and service. Had a few language/translation issues, but were able to resolve these, especially since senior management are open and accessible. Several members of concierge team were extremely thoughtful for planning trips, getting healthcare solutions and providing transportation (really important as taxi drivers have no knowledge of English and surprisingly weak navigation skills). One lovely gentleman, Enrique, even helped us get a prized restaurant reservation and always went out of his way to meet all our needs. Thank you for a stunning stay!

We stayed there in right before Christmas of 2017 and were very satisfied. It is pricey by Peruvian standards but commensurate with what you get in return. It is a modern newly built hotel and has the taste and feel of new high standards hotels. We had a junior suite which was on the 4th floor without any ocean view but offered a nice small garden terrace with an outside table and seats and a small garden. Very pretty. The room offered plenty of light despite its low floor and tall surrounding buildings and had a nice size including a sofa and nicely sized desk that allows you to easily work with a laptop. Nice and spacious bathroom size. Location: in Miraflores at the border of Barranco (considered the bohemian part of Lima) which is only 5 taxi cab minutes away. It is close to a nice small shopping mall (Larcomar) which also offers some casual dining (try Publico which we found is value for money). A bit of a downside: given its location on the edge of Miraflores you need a good 30 minutes (at about $10) if you want to go to San Isidro to have dinner there. Traffic is dense at night in Lima. Breakfast: reasonably large and nice selection of what you expect to find at a good hotel but not more (there is some room for improvement). Selection of Peruvian cheeses could be improved compared with other Peruvian hotels where we stayed). Egg dishes prepared fresh and rapidly. Also, rapid coffee service. Friendly staff. Breakfast room up on the top floor (11th) offering a nice view although the mornings are foggy in Lima. We did not eat at the hotel’s restaurant which enjoys a good reputation. Nice hotel bar which offers an afternoon free Pisco preparation course in which I participated and which I liked. Capable concierge service. WiFi worked well and was fast.

Was upgraded upon arrival to a nice suite with private jacuzzi and sauna. staff is beyond well trained and offer impeccable service, Concierge fixed a table at Maido within seconds (truly miracle) we had a very funny and eyeopening Pisco tasting at their bar and the bar and executive lounge is full of good service. Came sooo late for breakfast but was seated and greeted with smiles only. a true Belmond experience.

We began and ended our trip through Peru with stays at the Belmond Miraflores Park. The hotel is beautiful and in the perfect location— with views of the ocean and Lima city as well as access to a very safe walking / running path alongside the cliff’s edge. Rooms are clean & comfortable with luxurious touches (um... massive tub & private sauna), the food is great, incl. an unbelievable breakfast buffet with a full bread / pastry cart and even bee pollen at the cereal station. Hotel offers amenities like a daily activity (trip to the market with the chef, yoga, etc) and leaves a Peruvian cookie on your pillow during turndown. However, the people who work at the hotel really made our stay truly memorable. From Sergio @ the concierge who worked his magic and got us a res at Central to the wonderful woman @ the front desk who accommodated us in the executive lounge when our rooms weren’t ready for check-in and after checkout before our red eye flight we couldn’t have asked for a more hospitable experience. We look forward to our next visit to Lima and wouldn’t stay anywhere else but the Belmond !!!!

We stayed here on our last night in Peru. As our flight was delayed three hours, arriving here at night was just the best feeling. We organised pick up through the hotel which was seamless and efficient. Our driver was Victor. Our names were easily seen at the car pick up desk where you collect your bags. There are lots of agencies asking if you want official taxis in the baggage collection area so it can be a bit flustering otherwise. Check in was a breeze and we enjoyed the complimentary ice tea on offer. We opted to include breakfast upon check in as well. On our first night we ate downstairs in the restaurant near the entry. Food was delicious and filling. Our waitress was very nice and hospitable. Our room was divine. We had a junior ocean view suite which overlooked the Pacific Ocean and Miraflores Park. Unobstructed views as well. I think all the rooms have a nice view really. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, even for me given I prefer a slightly harder bed. Amenities in the bathroom were very nice. Plenty of space in the stand in shower. Upon check in, there were little goodies for us waiting in our room which was a very nice touch. Brekky is served upstairs on level 11 in The Observatory; located next to the infinity pool and Zest Spa. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to use the spa during our stay given the initial flight delay. It looked good though! We tried to book for the day after but it was booked out for the whole day so perhaps book ahead if you know you want something done during a short stay. Breakfast was probably the nicest we’ve had during our stay around Peru. Great selection and quality food. Service was very fast as well. We enjoyed the view of the Pacific Ocean. I found wifi didn’t work well in the room (711) but did in the common public areas. Not a major issue but could be for some? Also, I did find there weren’t enough pool chairs in the pool area. We tried to find two seats after check out but all the chairs were taken already. There were maybe 15 lounges in total. Considering the view from the infinity pool, they need to allow for more guests to enjoy that space. Definitely stay more than one night if you can! Would recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.
