This apparthotel occupies floors 6-12 of a building set into the side of the Lille Europe shopping centre. Basic but adequate for a couple of nights. An interesting requirement- you need to bring your rubbish to the reception area as you leave! A first time experience for us. At present they are refurbishing one of the two lifts so one may need to wait awhile for a trip up or down. A large Carrefour is very close by. As others have pointed out it's almost equidistant to both Lille large stations. The appartments are not equipped to deal with high temperatures.
Absolutely loved our stay! Close by to both train stations Lille Europe and Lille Flanders, bars, restaurants and local amenities. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hair dryers available upon request at reception. A very comfortable stay. The accomodation is clean and well maintained. We had a great nights sleep, my only wish would be that we found this apartment at the beginning of our weekend in Lille. But a great ending to a fantastic getaway. I would definitely recommend to anyone
At the back end of the Euralille shopping complex and across from the platforms of Lille Flandres busy station but I had no noise issues at all. Convenient location, Lille Flandres 5 mins, Lille Europe station 10 mins (via Euralille) and main square 10+ mins, Not the prettiest location and a bit poor externally but my room was clean, tidy and well fitted as a small studio. I find having fridge, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery etc a big plus. Bathroom good, nice bath, powerful shower. Room fairly basic but it was absolutely fine for my 2 night stay and I would definitely return. £39/night I felt was a good price.
There are definitely some pros to this residence. It is close to the train station, the price is relatively affordable and one is just a short ten minute walk from the centre of town. Our room was clean and fairly comfortable but we found the hotel itself a little lacking in terms of personality. It is a little dark and dreary but good enough for a single night stay. The breakfast is a bit disappointing as I would expect more than just a continental breakfast for 8 euros.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment, the photos on line make it look larger than it is which was ok for two but this is meant to be for four people, that would have been a struggle I think. Reception staff polite but not overly so. The rooms are a little worn and ours smelt a little, nothing opening a window and airing it didn't fix, but even so, they obviously don't do that. The location is superb, 10 mins from both stations and right by the town centre. Eurolille shopping centre is literally next door. Storage for luggage available and an odd little rule of you empty your own rubbish bin or be fined 57€. Lille its self is a lovely places, lots to see and do. We went by Eurostar and this was excellent too.
The location is the best part of this hotel. It is attached to a large shopping centre called Euralille. It is also very central and there is a metro station nearby. The room itself was very clean and there is no complaints in that regard. The beds were comfortable but the pillows weren't great. A minor criticism would be that it was not explained to us how to enter the hotel at night as the doors are shut and reception is closed. We quickly discovered that we had to scan our fob attached to the keyring in order to gain access. In all, a very enjoyable short stay and we will be visiting again.
We stayed here for the euro game Wales v Belgium. The apartment was perfect for our stay clean and tidy beds were very comfortable. There were four of us travelling, there was ample room to sleep four even the sofa bed was good. I would recommend this place for a weekend stop over
its okay close to centre just 5 minutes walking to train station all good but for 1 night I paid 135 euro that too much . I will go again if will be cheap ) one thing disturb ate us at 7.45 am was huge noise from building ,that was sad
Drove from Cork to Dublin airport - make sure you have the e-toll paid for the return trip before you travel. Best value parking is the Red Carpark with a 5 minute shuttle to the main terminals. Flew with Ryanair and got usual competitive rate to Amsterdam. The main train station is actually located under the airport terminal but as usual allow loads of time to get from A) to B) at airports and train stations as distances you need to walk are usually long and security is very tight. Pre-booked the high speed train (very reasonable rate) to Lille - it reaches speeds of over 300K per hour - and travelling through Belgium it takes just over 2 hours - so smooth you would hardly know it's moving !!. Hotel was 5 minute walk from the station - right in the middle of the city - clean but basic. Only one ring working on the hob - no kettle - no toaster - no iron. There is a jumbo shopping centre next door which was excellent. Reception staff friendly and helpful. City is only about 250,000 people so it's not big but it has its' own Metro. Also has many beautiful squares and fountains and buildings. Usual city bus tours available. Restaurant and bar prices reasonable (you can get a continental breakfast in hotel but otherwise nothing) Was particularly good trip - winning the match - train journey if you wanted to go on to Paris is about an hour. Or you could schedule a short break in Amsterdam on the return journey - flights are just over an hour to and from Dublin Exiting the carpark is ticketless - it reads your' numberplate On the Cork - Dublin road, an excellent stopping point for a toilet break and nice food is junction 14 Mayfield - great also for giving children an opportunity to stretch their legs
Just returned from a weekend in Lille watching football and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Great spot on edge of superb new shopping centre between Eurostar terminal and main train station. Definitely an apartment rather than hotel. Rooms not cleaned and bedding not changed (and have to take own rubbish out when leave) but useful kitchenette and very quiet at night despite central location. Very comfortable bed and shower good too. Staff helpful and friendly. Lille is a pretty town with very friendly locals who welcomed all the football fans. Metro system is super efficient. Recommended for short trip.
