Novotel Suites Gare Lille Europe

We spent one night here in January, me, my husband and 7 year old daughter. As we headed towards the hotel I didn’t think it looked very nice, however once we got to the room I was pleasantly surprised. We had a triple suite on the 10th floor which had a double bed and a single sofa type bed. Very spacious and clean and modern. There were net curtains that could be drawn to give the main bed some privacy. There was a shower, bath and separate toilet. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were good. There was a little kitchenette with a sink, kettle, microwave and fridge which is handy, however there is no cutlery or plates or china cups. There are a few games for kids in the reception area which our daughter enjoyed. This hotel is very close to the Lille Europe train station, although I didn’t hear any train noise in the room, the room was very quiet. There are several good bars and places to eat by Lille Flanders train station 5 minutes walk away, the old town is 10 to 15 minutes walk away. If we visit Lille again it is likely that we would stay here again.

We have spent 1 night at this hotel, one stop during a mini family roadtrip. The hotel is modern, clean and conveniently located. During the night one of the kids got sick and the night staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be back here!

Average hotel, big rooms, next to train station and shopping centre. Breakfast not that special and suggest to eat at the EuraLille next door. Rooms is okay and for a good night of sleep. Not sound troubles, because of double windows.

The hotel is situated near the big station in Lille, but due to very good isolation you cannot hear a single sound coming from outside! The beds were nice and soft but still comfortable. Big room with enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Well provisioned TV on demand included, nice kitchenette with team, coffee and microwave supplied. Nice breakfast with lots of choices for cereals, bread, sweets and savoury! Good coffee and juice. For this price one of the best in the area! We needed an overnight stay to get to Calais in the early morning. This was a perfect decision! Dogs welcome!

So close to the Eurostar it was great. The greeting on reception was more than a little bland. Room was nice and large, but the toilet is an upgraded portoloo, Tea and coffee was basic, no milk for tea, and a few nepresso pods. Location was the best thing about this place, and for a couple of days it'sfine.

Customer focused service from reception to room amenities. Ideal location close to main stations and city centre. If you are lucky enough to book early you will also get unbeatable rates for very large and comfortable rooms. Definitely recommended !

We stayed at this hotel for three nights to complete our pre Christmas shopping. Hotel is opposite to large shopping complex of EuraLille with all facilities, and us only a walk into the city centre. The room was comfortable and well presented, although bathroom is in need of an upgrade. The staff were very welocoming and most helpful to us on more than one occasion. The only downside was the parking. If you come by car the hotel has no car parking facilities and you have to use one of the nearby public car parks which are all expensive, our three nights cost us 77 euros so be warned!

Stayed here the first night in France after taking the Eurostar from London. Chose the hotel based on location across from the Lille Europe station and excellent weekend rate. The room was spacious and practical. Good multilingual cable and very good wi-fi. Steps from my car rental the next morning. Easy walk to downtown and Beaux Arts Museum.

I booked a room through Expedia (fully refundable, 3 separate rooms) for a work trip with 90 days advanced notice. 2 days later, I fully cancelled the rooms through Expedia with a record of the cancellation. The day I was supposed to be at the Novotel Suites Lille, my credit card was charged for the 2 rooms for the 2 day stay. I was surprised to see that and was charged directly by the hotel instead of by Expedia. After close to 30 days of correspondence, multiple phone calls, documentation of my credit card bill, and Expedia reaching out to the hotel, I still only have one night credited back to my card. The hotel has not objected to any part of my claim. I would be vary wary in staying at this hotel unless you are willing to have them bill you unnecessarily and not respond to a very basic mistake made by their reservation and booking teams.

You may want to choose a different hotel if you are staying in Lille. But if you are visiting a neighboring town this is an excellent place to stay. It is located just across the street from the train station Lille Europe with the adjoining car park and rental car facilities. Easy access to the highway and a short walk to the center of Lille. The room was spacious, quiet, clean. Highly recommended
