In line with the standard of mercure, clean and good rooms, not noisy even of on saturday night there was a dancing evening in the bar. Overall it was good. Nice breakfast buffet with more than what you need. We used the hotel to avoid driving at night back home after a full day of shopping/restaurent.

I visited Mercure Lille on the way back from my coach holiday, after a long day of travel from Germany I was in need of some good food and a comfy bed. I did not find any of these things at Mercure Lille, my partner and I made our way up to our room to be greeted by huge stains all over the carpets the room was just dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We made our way down for dinner which was disgusting reheated lasagna that was so tough on the edges you could barely cut it. The worst aspect of the whole visit was the staff at dinner the waiters were arrogant and loudly said offensive and racist jokes in earshot of the other guests ( I suppose they assumed that a group of English tourists wouldn't understand them) totally disgusting behaviour as a waitress at a 5* Restaurant myself manners and kindness cost nothing these waiters should be disciplined.

This hotel was sold on the Dutch Internet as a "4 star mystery hotel". The location is nice for shoppers. A big supermarket Auchan FACHES THUMESNIL including a lot of small shops, is located at 1,5 kilometers from the hotel. Both the Auchan and the hotel have got plenty free parking. The big shoppingcenter Euralille and the old town of Lille are located 8,5 kilometers from the hotel, nine minutes ride. Under the Euralille complex there is a huge parking for 2 euro per hour with a daily maximum of 25 euro. During our visit to Euralille on saturday, it was very crowded. Our room number 125 was nice and had a good size with two queen beds, a table and two chairs. The bathroom was big but old and had only a bath with a showerhead. There was a problem with the toilet, it seemed that a small amount of water constantly ran through the toilet. The airconditioning unit was attached to the outside wall. It looked like an American motel type airconditioning and it caused a humid smell while it was constantly raining outside. We did not use the airconditioning and opened the window instead. The view from the window was very nice with a huge tree on a big lawn with wild rabbits running around. The hotel was very quiet. We did not buy breakfast because breakfast was 15 euro per person per day and we only eat one croissant for breakfast with a cup of coffee. At the Auchan supermarket or Euralille you can get a small breakfast under 5 euro.

A nicely presented hotel on an overnight stop. Clean room, very smart, great facilities. Food good, although I didn't eat it as I was unwell when we arrived. We had it delivered to the room, which was very helpful of them. Only complaint was the noise on the carpark. Many rooms overlook the carpark. Due to location, lots of coming and goings, people checking in and out. There were groups of teenagers messing about in cars and vans, some running up and down the corridors, making a din. But, other than that, a good hotel for an overnight stop.

Nice hotel, clean and welcoming. Our ground floor room was spacious, clean and well looked after. We stayed as part of a Battlefield tour group, so spent little time in the hotel. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. The bar team very friendly and helpful, great beer and wine selection.

Every time that we arive in the hotel we enjoy the nice entrance hall, the spacious rooms and the friendly staff. We had a nice dinner in La Flamme with a excellent wine arrangement. In 3 weeks time we will be back again.

stayed for a week. Nice place, clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed, great room service and restaurant. the staff were very friendly and worked to speak English to me. just of the highway, but it is tricky to get to as you have to double back on a roundabout...

This hotel was our overnight stop on the way back to England after our German Christmas market tour. I really enjoyed my stay here. On arrival we were asked what we would like for our evening meal which was quite a treat as all the other places we stayed at just had a set meal. We were all given a glass of a cider type drink as we went into the dining area. The staff were friendly and the meal was delicious and very well presented. Breakfast was ok but there wasn't as much on offer as at the other hotels we stayed at. No scrambled eggs or boiled eggs which was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms were clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for business reasons. My experience is that its a good hotel with friendly staff. Big parking place to park your car. The bar and restaurant are also good for a beer and have a bite to eat. The room was spacious and even though it was somehow outdated I've slept excellent as the bed was excellent and it was quiet. Nice shower in the morning and after a good breakfast, back to the office. Thanks!

Clinical. Long brown corridors, large (smelly) room, comfortable bed. I was only here for the night and so I guess it served its purpose but it was very unwelcoming. And at €7.50 for 0.5l of draft beer it was very expensive (and had the most miserable barman I have met in a long time).
