A friend and I booked for a return to Lille. Man Free so we could relax and shop. It is well placed for the shops and Old Town. The staff are great and welcoming. Attentive to two lady travellers. Our room, 111. A twin ground floor room at the rear of the hotel was great for us, bright, so we could do our make up and do our hair etc. Bath and shower. Such comfortable beds, we slept so well, after out shopping day. Lovely meal in the Bistro. Quiet drink and snacks in the Atrium after another day out in Town. Looked after so well by our young waiter. Even did the statutory photo shot for us. Already planning our next trip to Lille and this would be our number one choice of hotel. We have been here for New Years Eve with our men. It was great. Full of Buzz. Music and Party. Lovely place to stay and with history to absorb from the surroundings. New Spa since last There. Looked lovely but not tested. Full range of treatments.

We stayed as an overnight stay before returning to the UK, would love to have had more time to enjoy the facilities ie the spa but we only arrived late. Room was lovely even the standard one we stayed in with nice bathroom products, bathrobes and slippers. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Valet service was great, and made the check in and exit very easy. Bar area inside is lovely, very atmospheric.

Really beautiful hotel not too far from the centre of Lille (10 minutes by foot). The hotel is a converted convent. Beamed rooms with plenty of space and White Company toiletries all add to the feel of luxury. Room 227 on the first floor was generous in size and in a kind of separate part of the hotel. The only downside was the view was out on to the street but this was a minor detail. Staff incredibly polite, professional and helpful. Would definitely go back here.

I have stayed here as a weekend getaway six times in the last year. It is in a super location--easy walking distance anywhere you want to go. The bar is wonderful--piano playing, harp playing and a great choice of wines, beer and mixed drinks. The spa is exquisite and the pool is very relaxing. The rooms are spacious and clean. This hotel is a must! It is peaceful and relaxing.

I spent one night at this hotel. It is located centrally, within walking distance of everything of interest in Lille. Because I am a Marriott Gold member, I was upgraded to a very nice junior suite (thank you very much). The room was impeccable, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. I have underline the remarkable kindness of the staff, especially at the reception. You could tell that they received the proper training in terms of customer interaction and that they really valued offering an outstanding service to clients. The bar at the hotel is really nice and serves excellent drinks. I would defintely like to return.

I stayed in this hotel for business and just regret the fact that I didn't have more time to enjoy all the hotel's facilities. It's beautiful cause they managed to mix old structures with modern ones. Service is good. During the happy hour, we had a couple dancing Tango in the lovely bar they have just to give you a sample of the things you can enjoy while staying in the hotel. The only thing is that the radiator in my room was noisy and I didn't find the breakfast exceptional... would say standard.

A really lovely hotel, created from a renovated hospice with many courtyards, so everywhere is light-filled and airy. Fantastic location, easy to walk everywhere but just slightly removed from the tourist madness. Extremely comfortable room, slightly smaller that expected for a property of this grandeur but nevertheless beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Fantastic team who were both delightful and helpful. A lovely adjacent modern spa with a small pool to swim away the walking tours. Al in all a truly terrific place to stay for a weekend away. (The only reason not to allocate 5 stars to this lovely hotel is that the breakfast, for which there is an additional charge, was very uninspired - pre-cooked scrambled eggs in a warmer are not what one expects of a 5* property - grab a coffee in your room and go out for breakfast!)

I only had a very brief one night stay at this lovely hotel but it will definitely be my hotel of choice next time in Lille. Previously I have stayed at the Novotel but tried this hotel on a recommendation from a colleague and was not disappointed.FFor around the same price it is much more charming for a traveler from outside of Europe. I had some travel issues on arrival and the staff were very compassionate and helpful. My room was really beautiful and the hotel has a great ambiance. Loved meeting with my colleagues in the large open bar area for a few drinks and the breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting with everything I needed. Thankyou for all of your help during my stay. I very much look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Lille

A large stylish hotel converted from the Hospice Gantois. Much of the historical parts retained like the chapel and courtyard gardens. The pool (non chlorine) and steam room again stylish and clean however the pool not that big. The location is great - 15/20minutes walk into the centre of Lille where there are plenty of restaurants. Not quite a five due to a few niggles like waiting for the lift to go downstairs and the cleaner going in before us and filling the lift with her trolley and going so we had to waited for it to go down and then come back - this is not a cheap hotel and I would have thought guests would take priority. The reception staff were very friendly and the car parking service efficient. Would choose this hotel again in Lille.

I love this hotel. I have stayed here 3 times now and it is lovely. A great location; easy stroll into town and to the station. The rooms are nice with White Company toiletries, soft fluffy towels, power showers or a bath and complimentary mineral water. The breakfasts are amazing; plenty of choice: hot and cold and freshly baked croissants, pastries and breads. The bar area is great for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap. Now they have a spa with a nice sized pool for a relaxing dip. What's not to like?
