The English of some of the reception staff was weak but they were friendly and helpful The rooms are standard Holiday Inn Express clean and comfortable. The carpet in the communal corridors was marked (looks like someone spilt bleach) but otherwise no complaints The reception staff also man the small bar which works OK until a group of Chinese are trying to check in at the same time as the barrel has run out on the draft beer Breakfast is typical continental perfectly adequate for one day I think I would tire of it if I was staying for more than a couple of days

We stopped at this hotel for one night on the way back from the German Christmas Markets. The hotel is a short walk from the main town although the immediate area is a little shabby. We had planned to leave our call in the underground carpark, but this has a restriction of 1m90 which wasn't high enough for our car with a roof box. However, there is parking in front of the hotel in the road (if you can find a space) which is cheaper than staying in the carpark overnight. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in giving us directions and recommending a nearby restaurant. The rooms are quite small but nicely decorated (the hotel is quite new) with tea and coffee making facilities which is unusual in European hotels. The continental breakfast was good -plenty of choice. The staff all spoke good English and were attentive.

Very nice modern hotel in the centre of Lille. Simple hotel but has everything you need for a night in Lille. Clean, the beds are good, friendly personnel, breakfast and coffee in ample supply, wifi... excellent value for money.

We stayed at this hotel because we needed a base to explore Lille. We were not disappointed as the hotel had a simple check in/out process, allowing us to leave our luggage while rooms were being prepared. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful, particularly Maxim who pointed out some places on the map we might like to visit and recommended a couple of restaurants close by that we did visit and had great meals. Clean, comfortable rooms but could do with some drawers instead of the wasted space underneath the bedside tables. Would definitely recommend.

The HIE Lille Centre is very near to the city centre so you can leave your car parked in the underground parking and walk. Lots of food options around if you're hungry late in the evening. Rooms are OK, what you would expect from a HIE. Breakfast was average, I've had better options in a HIE.

not the greatest experience here, we were given a tiny attic bedroom on the top floor and had to use an equally tiny lift to get there. it was extremely complicated parking the car in the underground car park which was like fort knox to get into, I can understand the security needed at this hotel as we were mugged yards from the entrance on the first evening, we left the next morning after having to pay £98 to get an earlier ferry home, it was a relief to go. the breakfast was just brioche sliced and croissants, very little choice, we must have just been there at the wrong time. the bedrooms have chain bolt locks which is understandable

A very nice hotel, well situated just a few minutes by walk to the old town Vieux Lille. Clean and very friendly staff, free wifi. Rooms are a bit small but everything is in order. the double bed is also a bit small but we are used to king size beds. Breakfast was for sure not unforgettable but for the price we should not complain to much. Note : underground parking is a bit expensive : 13€ per night...

I arrived in Lille on Euro star and made the mistake of getting the Metro, and as happens to some tourists got of one stop after the station I should have. So all in all took me about an hour to get to the Hotel on my return journey home I used sat nav to get back to the euro star station it was more or less a straight walk from the Hotel and took about 15 minutes, wished I had walked to the Hotel on arrival. The Hotel is just a short walk from the City Centre and the entertainment areas so it is very well situated, it is a small Hotel but very nice the reception staff are very welcoming and full of advice about the area so do not be afraid to ask. The rooms at the Hotel are small but more than adequate I was there for three nights and found it very comfortable it has modern decor but above all is very clean Breakfast is included with the reservation and offers a varied selection of Fruit,Pastries,Cereals,Meats and Cheese (alas no hot food). On night Life the most popular places are within a 15 minute walk. Over all I would definitely recommend this and if in the area again will choose to stay there.

Just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. Very good fully accessible room (I use a wheelchair). We can't fault the staff for their friendliness and professionalism. Even down to marking my birthday with a bowl of goodies which were greatly appreciated! Would happily return anytime.

Stay there for the weekend was very impressed with the hotel the rooms were very clean and tidy. Although it was small it had everything we needed the bed was nice and comfortable. Bathroom was again small but big enough and clean. The hotel was about a 10-15mins easy walk to the centre, shops and 2mins from the train station. Breakfast was included in our stay and was good a nice spread and worth it. The staff were nice and helpful. The only thing was that the underground parking was tight to get in and out of and might be a problem with a large car. Overall very happy and would stay there again when I Lille.
