The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are nice and the bed is good!. As i booked a double room we received a room infront of the elevator and the stairways. what i did not like was the double is too small it is a 140x200 ( or smaller ) The room has enough space for a 160x200. Als the door to the stairway is very noisy when open en closing. This is very disturibin when you want to fall asleep or sleep a bit longer in the morning. The breakfast is very poor. There is nothing hot to eat like screambled eggs and sausages even the boiled egg is cold. This is very poor for a holiday in express and i expected a bit more. other then that i advise to take a double room for one person :)
If you’re planning to stay for few days in Lille, this cozy hotel is perfect in terms of location. This is located in the city center walking distance to everything. For some days, a market is open on the other side few minutes walk from the hotel.
This hotel is close to the city centre but offers parking - an unusual combination. Previous reviews mentioned the tight spaces in the car park but we didn't have any difficulty parking our car there. Our room was quiet and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price.
What a lovely little city Lille is and this hotel was in the best location, literally a 5 min walk from the centre, close to wazemme market, museums and art galleries! I have to say the lady Julia on reception was the best, friendly and welcoming! On our arrival she provided us with a map of Lille telling us where we should visit, best times to visits and just helping plan our weekend which was full packed! I had the best stay and I would thank Julia personally for this!
My French is terrible- the front desk was particularly accommodating with helping me with print outs, photocopies, etc. Maxime was particularly helpful. The others at the front desk were also great. I liked their breakfast service as well. They don't have a gym, which is too bad.
Just arrived home after 3 nights in Lille. The first 2 nights we could not sleep due to inconsiderate guests slamming doors, shouting and being disruptive all night long. Night 2 we were woken at 12:45 am the noise continued until 4am. Housekeeping staff contributed to the noise, door slamming and loud inconsiderate chat during the morning and day time. After 2 nights of no sleep we requested a room move which did improve but not cure the problem for the last evening. On the plus, the location was close to the centre, the reception staff were pleasant and breakfast was acceptable. I would give a poor and unacceptable review for sleep however I increased the score due to other elements such as breakfast, reception staff and location. If you want to sleep choose a different hotel...
Able to book four rooms here at a busy time for hotels in Lille. I was also able to adjust my reservation easily using the IHG app. Hotel is clean, has parking, decent breakfast, and a small bar. Front desk staff was very nice. Rooms were typical size. Quick walk to the Grand Place or to bars nearby. I would stay again.
We booked a twin room with an additional folding bed (it's only suitable for a child), nice and clean and cozy. great location right in the town centre. pretty quiet. our room was cleaned everyday, however, we left our sons night clothes on the bed and they were thrown in the bin by the cleaning lady. good job the bin was clean, otherwise i would have been really annoyed. buffet breakfast was good and varied. big downside is the extortionate parking fees.
Staff is ok friendly and helpfull as member even more nice. Room like the last time small but cozy and with a toilet brush👍the bed small clean and lovely.... but??? When im in France and i cannot get a glass of white or red wine because its not availeble then im realy irritated, what a bad managing of youre bar need to pay 11€ for a glass of leffe amd a chimmay beer because i wanted to stay in and at least drink some, bad bad bad, maybe paying half would do the job too but nothing. After breakfast i will pay my 13€ parking costs and depart, for good
We chose Lille as a stopover on our way to Paris, and needed somewhere reasonably priced and dog-friendly. We have been really pleased with our stay here. Julia welcomed us yesterday and was really helpful in suggesting where we could go in evening. We had forgotten to pack our socket adaptors, which she very kindly lent us. The hotel doesn’t charge extra for dogs, which is awesome! The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We used the Underground parking, which was more than adequate. Sure, it can be a bit tight but you’d only struggle if you were driving a tank or couldn’t really park properly. WiFi was great in our room, which was on the 6th floor, and the breakfast was very satisfactory. Hotel’s in an excellent location with the centre only a short walk away. Really happy overall.
