We arrived a little early to check in & it seemed that our arrival was an inconvenience even though we only wanted to leave a bag. Parking was full at first but we managed to get a space when another guest left. We were able to check on around 3.30. Hotel is located near the canal which is a lovely spot. It is very quirky in a converted convent. Public areas are lovely but oh they are so hot with the glass roof!! Our room was tight for space & again very hot. The AC wouldn’t work but on calling reception they said that they had to switch it on for us. Once it was on, it certainly cooled the room down. Room was fine but it was a struggle to move around. Didn’t think it was worth the room rate charged. Breakfast was a quick in & out at 7am on Sunday which was fine. Well stocked buffet looked good. Staff were oblivious to our presence & didn’t make any effort. Location is superb for exploring Lille. Would rather stay here than in a more central busy location. Easy to get anywhere by foot.

Rooms are huge and either overlook the courtyard which has been covered and is now the restaurant bar area or the outside of the hotel..v friendly staff.. marked down as I had no hot water.. my fellow travellers all had similar problems..10 to 15 min walk to historic area.. only 5 min walk (opposite direction) to late night bars..

Stayed here for a long weekend break and we loved it, a very clean well equipped room. There is a fantastic bar restaurant area with friendly attentive staff. The town is a short walk away meaning it is in a very quiet location.

We stayed here in December for one night whilst visiting the Christmas Markets. As a permanent wheelchair user it is important to book a suitable adapted room. This hotel has a great Disabled room. See the pictures attached.

This hotel is a modern exterior grafted onto a 17th century convent. The remnants of the cloisters surround the ground floor area of the bar and resturant and create a very pleasing effect. It's situated very conveniently to the "old town" of Lille, which is picturesque and crammed with bars/cafes and restaurants. All a max 10/15 minutes walk. The rooms were of a good size and contained everything needed. Amenities inclused a safe, free wifi a mini bar. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was tiled with a decent shower enclosed in glass preventing water escaping across the wider bathroom. Towels were of a good standard. Check in was painless and the staff were friendly and efficient. Indeed I mentioned to the reception desk that a sliding door in the wardrobe had come away from it's runners and I could see no way to get it back in. He left the desk immediately and came with me back to the room to effect repairs. The hotel breakfast (cost 19 euro) was a very typical continental style buffet, but there were sausages, bacon and scrambled egg for the "full English" devotee, which I am not. I enjoyed a good selection of bread, pastries, cheese and meats. Smoked salmon, fruit salad also available. Coffee was primarily from a machine although there were pots available to the side. Good supply of cereals and juice. So I was enjoying the hotel and the ambience until New Years Eve. The hotel had a party which we were invited to join but at 140 euro plus drinks we felt was expensive. We sorted ourselves out in the town. We returned between 12.30/12.45. The party was in full flow but i anticpated it being wound down fairly soon after our return. In fact the music did not finish until after 3.00 am. A very annoying disco type of music with a monotous (and loud) bass refrain: Thud, Thud Thud. I know that folks had paid for a party and were clearly enjoying it but equally guests had paid for a nights sleep. This did detract from my overall warm feeling about the hotel. Would I stay there again? Yes of course but not over New Year! Main reason why I have given a rating of 4 rather than 5.

Very nice conversion of historic abbey. Big rooms, nice bar and restaurant area in the central atrium. Location is on the edge of town in a quiet location opposite a very nice canal basin. Its about 10-15 minutes walk into the centre of town.

From the moment we arrived the reservation desk greeted us warmly, check in was prompt and offered us information on the city centre. Our room, albeit a little tired, was quiet, comfortable and perfect for a weekend escape. The location is walking distance to the park, Old Town and all attractions. We would recommend to any one wanting a stay in Lille.

Nice luxury hotel, expensive rate, free wifi, good breakfast with several varieties, good view, hall for business meetings,3 elevators. heater is the rooms, minibar not for free. 1.8 km walk to Gare du Lille station.

the room is very large, amenities are good, furniture is out dated. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants. The breakfast was OK, not great but sufficient there a car park at the garden of the hotel.

I telephoned to check out disabled facilities beforehand & so it was even more disappointing upon arrival to find that their interpretation of disabled facilities is far from the truth. Food was appalling, lift out of action, drinks extremely expensive. Totally overrated. Extremely disappointing and not even an offer to reduce the room rate upon discovering that the booking was not as it should have been. Stay well clear!
