Overall, a good place to stay

Check in was quick and easy. The room was average. Beds are small but fairly comfortable. Bathroom was good size but the bathtub needs to be updated. Breakfast was good but the dining room area is very small and crowded. The person in charge of keeping items stocked was overwhelmed. He was giving great effort but couldn’t keep up. The only real issue we had was being charged for snack items we did not get. Upon checking out I was told they couldn’t refund it since I booked through Hotels.com. Other than that it was a decent stay and I would return to this hotel again in the future.

Stayed here twice and each time it was up to high standards. They also have a lovely breakfast, omelets, pancakes, sausage/gravy, cereals, yogurt. I would definitely stay here again. Also, best pillows!

Not worth the $$

I reserved three rooms for our stay, and unfortunately, two of them had a strong, unpleasant odor that made the experience uncomfortable. The pool area was also a major letdown—it was in serious need of updates and maintenance. Most concerning was that the wheelchair assist chair was broken. Had I known this in advance, I would not have booked this hotel, as accessibility is a priority for us. That said, the pool and pool area was in such poor condition that we wouldn’t have used it even if the chair had been working.

Breakfast was really good! Especially the homemade cinnamon rolls. It was a very clean property with nice employees. So close to the places we were visiting, like Buffalo Trace and the Frankfort State Capital building and park area.

Nice stay, clean comfortable rooms w/good bkfst

The hotel is nice, comfortable, clean, in a convenient location and serves a breakfast with good choices. We didn't use the pool, but the room had a very comfortable king bed with nice pillows and decent TV channels/options. In case it matters, here are the only cons of note: The fitness center is very small...three cardio machines (bike, treadmill, elliptical) and some free weights (no bench) in a very small room, and the display on the bike was inop, so this didn't meet our needs but we were only there for a day during nice weather. There are parks and some trails in the area, but that requires nice weather. Lastly, the toilets seem very low, if that is a concern to anyone.
