Dirty, smelly and overpriced. Not up to Days Inn standards

It felt like a cheap motel... the picture must have been photoshopped

Rooms were so-so. Very sloppy painting...paint all over door trim, etc. We had no internet access in our first room, so after a lot of complaining from me, the manager agreed to move us to a different room in the front of the motel for our second night there. When we tried to make the move, the desk clerk seemed to have no record of us ever being there. In the second room we did have internet for a couple hours, but then it went away again. Rooms seemed old and small. Not easy to get into off the road. We certainly would not stay there again, nor recommend the place to others.

All the rooms smelled like smoke and were very dingy looking. This hotel is only suitable if your only other option is to sleep in dumpster of a nicer hotel. Even then, the dumpster might be the better option.

Hotel was very run-down looking. Room needed a complete remodel. Bathroom was yucky for lack of better term. Bed was very comfortable. I had to pay an extra $20 to upgrade to a non-smoking room of the same size. Really? If there were any rooms left in Frankfort, we would have gotten one somewhere else!

THOUGHT THIS MOTEL WAS CLOSED WHEN FIRST LOOKED AT-BAD LOCATION, RUN DOWN, FEMALE ATTENDANT WAS RUDE. NO MICRO, FRIDGE

The location was close to what we wanted to do and easy to get in and out of, Was reasable clean and we spend very little time in the roon as visted with family so never even went to see the pool

Conveiniently located, room was clean and price was very reasonable.

Rooms outdated, but clean. Location was not good, dark lot, next to closed shops. Very uncomfortable.

This place is a bargain but although the room was marked as non-smoking, it had seen more than its share of cigarettes. We both had sore throats the next morning. It reminded me what a great idea not smoking is.

Coffee maker had unknown substance in reservoir, covered with mold. Room was otherwise seemingly clean, with no other gross-outs. However, one was enough. Clerk told me that the Chinese Buffet next door was definitely open. It was definitely closed, and looked like it had been for some time.

Location was well off the freeway and in a crowded spot. The room and bath area was somewhat small, but just clean enough. Buildings are getting old and it shows. The breakfast didn't have hot food and was limited to breads and cereals. The breakfast area, in the lobby, was small and tables were crowded in, not very comfortable.

Perfectly located. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Will use again on return trips.

the room was clean, the pillows fluffy. was more than I expected for the price. Many local restaurants and shops, including a Wal-Mart for any last minute necessities. Planning to stay here next year for the Derby as well.

Picked up Daughter from College Nothing to do at the hotel Never stayed at Days Inn before, not sure it would be my first choice the next time around, the chain I stayed was full. The room was clean, sheets were fresh smelling, old bathroom tiles dark and dingy looking. The outside doors to the rooms needed some paint. The reception area had a stale odor and wreaked of smoke. However it beats sleeping in the car.

Was supposed to be in a non-smoking room. The room reeked of smoke terribly. I had to wash all the clothes I brought that I never even put on because they stunk so bad. Continental breakfast is extremely limited.

rooms marginal...ask for non smoking and the room smelled of smoke and there were 3 ashtrays! Nice, quick breakfast.

Very clean room. Staff was extremely helpful.

Great hotel for a low price. Nice and quiet off the path

We arrived at midnight and were greeted by a surly man at the front desk who barely spoke and seemed to be annoyed at our presence. I told him we'd reserved a non-smoking room (which we did) and he said gruffly, "We don't have a non-smoking room." That was all he said until he handed me the room key. We opened the room to the overwhelming smell of cigarettes. The carpet was stained and felt dirty on our feet. In all, a very unpleasant evening. It got better in the morning as the early staff were far more accommodating, but the damage had already been done.
