Historic house, lovely town, great restoration!!! you can walk to everything with the exception of some of the areas top recreational opportunities like the Greenbrier River Trail, The only issue is noise from surrounding traffic and keep in mind this house is 220 years old - it creaks!

Stay here if you are into history

We had an exceptional stay at this 220 year old establishment. Very historical place with period furnishings and well thought out amenities. When in Lewisburg we would certainly stay here again.

The bed was decent, good pillows. All channels on the tv were messed up or messed up while trying to watch. Very convenient location to WV State Fair which was reason for stay!

Lovely character good location

Our overall experience was excellent lovely quant and characterful property. The stocked fridge teas coffees soft drinks and even wine was a lovely touch! Would definitely stay again. Only one small glitch we had a faulty aerial / poor signal so could not really watch tv while we were there. Otherwise would have given 5 stars all around! Good location for the historic downtown too with plenty of restaurant and breakfast choices!

The Inn was delightful. Our only regret was that fireplace was not a working fireplace. This should be noted in the information page before someone reserves. Other than that it was fine.

This is a gorgeous historic place, over 200 years old, fixed up meticulously. The room had a magnificent fireplace, and tasteful antiques transporting you back in time.
