The room was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. For those who are afraid of vermin, there was NO SIGNS whatsoever of either bugs or other vermin.. It was CLEAN. This is a place that is no frills, but for what you're paying for you get a lot, and a comfortable place to rest your head. We would absolutely go back when we're visiting the Pittsfield area.

The tv had what looked like spilled soda dripped down the front of it and dried, there were ants (not a lot tho), a patch of mold above the shower, only one towel didn’t have some sort of stain on it, the walls all had marks, and really, I think if they would just clean it, it would be a decent place. Shame. The lady checking out ahead of me was demanding a refund because her room had bedbugs so I guess I got off easy.

Room not kept up. Bathroom smelled disgusting, like a sweaty gym. Room felt dirty, dank smell. Walls paper thin heard loud tv all night. Smoking allowed right outside room so you inhale it regardless and makes room smell regardless. Breakfast lacking.

The room was enormous didn't feel cramped at all like some hotels. There for one night, the pool looked pretty decent, didn't have time to try it out. The room had a fairly strong odor of old cigarette smoke. A deep cleaning would probably help. The carpet seemed fairly new, but felt as though it was installed over an old carpet. Installation was done poorly, some corners not tacked down properly. What I disliked the most and seemed sort of sketchy was at check in. I'm used to hotels taking a deposit on a credit card for incidentals, but this hotel asked for my ID, again not too unusual, but the clerk scanned it and made a photocopy. I've never seen this done before anywhere, unless I missed clerks being more discreet. They did not ask for a credit card, just took a copy of my license, the clerk said they hold the copy for 15 days and then shred the copies. It just sounds weird. Would I stay there again? If it was just an overnight and really inexpensive, maybe. But it is not a vacation destination hotel.

Older property but maintained okay. It is fairly close to a busy road with the expected traffic noise. Daily housekeeping which some places have gotten away from so that was nice. Decent location. There was nothing really bad about it just nothing really good about it either hence the 3 stars.
