My first trip away from parents, Leicester was very vibrant and much more Colourful then I expected. Was an amazing weekend and the hotel we stayed in was a beautiful and cosy place with very powerful ensuite shower and a healthy selection for breakfast. I would want to stay at this place again if I visit Leicester again.
Stayed for 2 nights whilst in Leicester on business. The staff are room was very nice and the Hotel staff made me feel very welcome and was very helpful and recommended some good places to visit in my spare time and recommended a lovely place to eat near bye.
We stayed this weekend the hotel was amazing and great value. The brekfast was great I should of took photos. I would certainly recommend as a weekend city break hotel. With lots to do and see locally to the hotel
Great hotel, lovely spacious clean rooms & welcomed with smile even though we arrived after reception had officially closed to ask for 2 rooms! Would definitely recommend & if we ever to need to stay in Leicester this will be our go to hotel. Many thanks for your hospitality ☺️
Staff are friendly and attentive.......................... Location central for Leicester ............ rooms clean ................ shower powerful Beds a not good springs stick into you = not great sleep .................. Upgrade mattresses Please !
This hotel is perfectly placed for the market and other places to see in Leicester. However, it’s directly across from a bar that’s open til 2 am and is very noisy. The beds are quite uncomfortable. There’s no lift, so being on the top floor is inconvenient! I doubt we’ll stay for breakfast as it starts quite late in the morning, so even that convenience is lost on us. I imagine it would be better in winter, when windows could be closed and no one would be outside at the bar.
I gave this a three star vote because of location. The hotel is conveniently located near several pubs and restaurants. The rooms are very tiny and hard yo maneuver around with two people and luggage. Bed was ridiculously uncomfortable with springs poking you. Clean but heat did not work nor did the towel warmer.
Booked to stay here as I had booked to go to rugby for my husbands birthday. Unfortunately I was unwell and unable to go so stayed in the hotel whilst my husband went alone. The Room was spacious and clean and ideally situated. In the morning as I still wasn’t feeling great so we decided to leave the hotel to go home at 5.30am unfortunately when we got to our car we discovered we were in a locked car park that wasn’t going to be opened until 10am . Having posted the key in the postbox we were now locked out of the hotel . There was a mobile number on the window of the hotel to call which my husband did but was told by the person who had answered the phone that they lived an hour away but she would see what she could do . She then called immediately back and said she had managed to get hold of a member of staff who within 5 minutes had let us back into the hotel. Great customer service for 6am on a Sunday morning! . Will definitely go back and stay and hopefully make the night out !!!!!!
I stayed here for a week in November. The room on ground floor was adequate but the bed was lumpy. I felt the springs in the mattress every time I moved and even scraped my knee once. The breakfast is adequate and the staff is very friendly. They don’t have daily housekeeping though and the entire week I spent, no one changed the bedding even once. The in room tea kettle helps after a long cold day. The hairdryer in room is so weak it barely dried two strands of my hair. Overall it is basic hotel if you are just looking for a place to sleep. The girls though are saving grace. Friendly helpful and always have a smile for you
Booked this place last minute as got Leicester football tickets, was a real bargain provided continental breakfast and only 20 mins from the stadium. Arrived at 1830 due to bad traffic and got shown to a triple room with ensuite. Nice room if not a bit warm, king size bed with a double duvet which was a bit odd but was fine as we're not big people. Loads of room and had a fan and ironing board/iron in cupboard. This part isn't the hotels fault but we stayed in room 203 and there was a night club on the opposite side of the road and omg it was loud! Kept me up a lot of the night, but not the hotels fault. Is a shame as we would of used this hotel again for the football but will pass cos of the night club. If you're a sound sleeper then yeah I'd recommend.
