We were compensated for the issues we had but the hotel is in need of a proper uplift. The room was tired and dated and the beds are cheap spring mattresses. This isn’t something the general staff have control of, but it must be said for there to be any improvements.

Pet friendly and even has a dog bowl and towel station as you walk in! Staff are fabulous - I booked this as a getaway for my fathers birthday and mums mothers day. The staff went above and beyond to make the weekend special by giving them cards, a free drink and a birthday cake pudding! We really appreciated all the friendliness from staff. Restaurant has a good choice of food and couldn't fault it! They even accomodated the soya, onion and garlic allergies we have. Could do with a bit more attention to cleaning in the rooms (a few cobwebs, and a few stains on the floor). But apart from that it was fab x
