Friendly helpful staff.
The motel is in need of updating and tender loving care. The staff need to be a little more knowledgeable about the city and recommendations of eating places and when they are open. I was given several options by the desk clerk, but all of them were closed on Monday the day I was there.
Clean hotel. Facilities looked remodeled. Biggest issue was that the electrical plugs didn’t work or weren’t tight enough to hold the plug in making it hard to charge needed devices.
Friendly staff, efficient and helpful. They gave us great tips about sites of interest in Atichison, KS and we really enjoyed the stately home where the Amelia Earhart birthplace was located overlooking the Missouri River.
It was nice to have a fireplace and a spa in our room. Lynette who checked us in was a courteous, efficient and caring host. We'll be back.
I've stayed here twice while visiting a child at the college nearby....it's an older but clean hotel and the people are friendly. I don't spend a lot of time in the hotel when in town so I don't need a super high end facility for this type of trip.
Room was clean, service was good. Breakfast was adequate. Really need more king size bed rooms. Great location though.
Very clean and comfortable for 1 night stay whilst visiting daughter at school.
The room was clean except for something on the bedrunner. Our bathroom fan didn't work. The view from our window was a lovely green field. The lobby was really well kept. Nice fireplace area to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast had many options.
Great experience for sending off our child to the local college
Attending event at Benedictine and this is the closest hotel. Free breakfast has bare minimum. Would stay elsewhere if needing to stay more than one night.
Rooms, beds and breakfast were great! Our only complaint was that the bathrooms need an exhaust fan.
Decent hotel, nothing to write home about. . sauna was broken - disappointing, room wall furnace was faulty, reported it, didn't get fixed in 3 day, 2 night stay. Wall furnace would grind on low fan speed, then abruptly shout off, even turned itself on every 20 mins through the night even in total OFF mode. . .not acceptable. Business computer, poor internet speed. . .Too many blips like this to give it anything but an overall "2" rating. The Hampton Inn in Decatur, IL was worlds above this place (a "5") experience, even though price was identical. Super 8 next time in Acthison. . .
The staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was typical of the average hotel and quite sufficient. They made me feel like my business was appreciated.
We arrived early and the staff called us when our room was ready. Pool was nice and warm. breakfast area was messy by mid morning.
quiet and nice place to stay, easy off and back onto the hiway also
The accomodations were good and the service was awesome. Our only complaint would be the room smelled funny. We told the front desk and they sprayed some Febreeze which helped some.
