Terrible!

Booked it because it is close to the station. It was the worst stay in Switzerland by far : dust all over the room ( left with an allergy crisis; last one was years ago....), the floor cleaning was done with dirty water, which left an horrible odor in the room, reception told me the breakfast was not included and had to prove it to correct it, they claimed the key when I already given it and said I will receive an email if they cannot find it.. ( thanks for basically making me feel like I am a liar and a stealer), the check-in took a while (even though 2 people were at the reception...)

Awesome Stay at Lausanne

Overall a pleasant stay. We enjoyed having breakfast in the breakfast area and was thrilled & excited on the model train displayed on the floor covered with glass top which you can walk on it. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly.

It is nearby the train station, about 3 mins walk without suitcase). Room is clean, but the washroom is too tiny. Breakfast has various choices that makes the day more valuable.

Hotel AlaGare is in an extremely convenient location - a very short walk to the train station (great for arrival, departure and for taking a day trip to Geneva!) Our room was very quiet and we had no issue with train noise, whatsoever. Breakfast was ample and had a great variety. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Nice, clean, comfortable spot, walking distance from the train station. The gentleman at the front desk switched our room from a king to two twin beds. Breakfast was very good. It was a nice stay.

This is an older property. While very close to the train station, it was a little hard to find, initially, without signage. My room was small and largely occupied by the double bed. The bathroom was small. The site pictures suggest a more modern accommodation. Staff service was fine. The hotel breakfast was good.
