We came for a few days after spending a very relaxing and quiet week in Siargao. Despite being a family oriented resort, this definitely felt like a party resort. Music is blasting all day, even on the beach. The night we arrived, we could hear bass from the music all the way in our room well past 10pm. But we still enjoyed ourselves and so did our kids. The reason for the bad review is after returning home to the US and visiting the Apple Store Genius Bar, we’ve realized the reason why our AirPods are not working is because someone at the resort switched them while cleaning our room! We know the exact day the AirPods stopped working and we thought it was because we charged them by plugging into the wall directly. No, when we arrived at the Genius Bar we discovered the AirPods were over a year older than ours and were purchased in Asia. The AirPods even appeared with an Asian name. Seems one of the cleaners decided to swap their broken pair ours. If you’re planning on staying here, expect lots of music and energy and be vigilant about locking up your “valuables”.

The resort was overall good. Many nice spots for a variety of purpose. The staff was very helpful. We rent a car for 5 hours with a chauffeur. It was very worthy and we will rent a full day next time. Bit of down part was the room which seemed to need upgrade. The air conditioner was look like from 90's and didn't properly worked. Anyhow, overall it was a very relaxing stay.

We were on our honeymoon and as VIP, we got upgraded. They even sent a happy honeymoon cake to our room. The food at Enye was fantastic!

Love this resort. You wouldn’t know a high-quality resort exists on the way to the hotel because you’ll be driving through not-so-nice residential neighborhood. But you’d be amazed once you get in to the resort with breathtaking view of the infinity pool and the beach. Very clean all around. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Their fitness center is manned by professional personal trainers. I had a one-on-one personal training with Liza. Very happy with my stay.

We arrived late for check in yesterday. We were greeted by cheerful staff. The Guest Relations Officer gave us a room upgrade and gave us late checkout option (since I am an Orbitz Rewards platinum member). It was awesome! The whole resort was just awesome. The room was spacious, and clean. The pool is very instagrammable. The spa was a very calming place. (I also had the best massage from Jen!). If they had Free airport service, it would've been perfect. It was very good nonetheless.

For the price, it’s all worth it. Fairly new rooms and facilities. My second time here and they’ve always upgraded me to a better room and a free minibar. Most things are a bit pricey than average but it goes along with the star rating of the resort — you get discounts here and there (10% off for being an Orbitz reward member, or 20% off for using your Visa card). Staff and services are great. Only problem is the accessibility of the resort but I’d like to think of it as a hidden paradise.

Overall - great experience. Accommodating and friendly hotel staff, great facilities. Two things that really stood out for me was the outstanding kids club facilities and minders (open 8am-9pm) and superb restaurants, especially the Azure beach club. Gourmet level fusion cuisine, many interesting Japanese inspired dishes, but plenty western options as well. On the downside, the beach is just ok (compared to other places in the Philippines), although there is plenty of fish right there for snorkeling.

Place was relaxing. Staff were very courteous , was able to assist us immediately when we needed something. My husband who came w me to the resort which was his first visit to the Philippines, was very impressed with the place as well. We will definitely Recommend to friends.

Resort was very nice and private. All I can say is that you have to stay at this resort yourself to experience its high ratings! Only complaint was its location --- it was a bit hard to find and very secluded but once you got there, you wouldn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful time in crimson resorts and spa. The place was spectacular! Food was very good, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the best part is the staff. They are the freindliest and most accomodating staff we have ever encountered. They made sure our needs were met and they made my sis-in-law's birthday extra special. Thank you very much again and we'll definitely visit this place again in the future. Highly recommended!

PROS: - Very friendly staff! Everybody would greet you and ask how you're doing. - We had a deluxe garden room and it was very clean. The bathroom was nice and huge. - Drinks in the minibar were complementary for the first night. - The main pool was being renovated but we were next to the kids' pool, which was shallow and had splash areas. - Free shuttle into Cebu city 3 times a day. - Good wifi. CONS: - Beach is much smaller than pictured and seems man-made. - The breakfast buffet is decent but we didn't eat other meals at that restaurant since it was overpriced. Room service food was pretty good though. - Very isolated location. The hotel is private and some cabs will charge an extra 50-100 pesos to drop you off or pick you up. Hotel charges 180 pesos to drop you off nearby, which is about 100 pesos more than normal cabfare. - Inconvenient shuttle times. It took about 1.5 hrs to get into Cebu City and they only offer rides 3x/day. We had to take a cab back. - We were quoted 580 pesos to get dropped off at the ferry but it was changed to 700 pesos when we wanted to confirm it. Went for a taxi instead which cost 400 pesos. OVERALL: This place is great for families. However, it's very secluded so not too convenient to go out and eat or buy supplies. I wished they offered free shuttles to the nearby Mactown Newtown instead since it had a lot of restaurants and locals. I also recommend a spa near there called Retreat Spa.

I was unable to use my reservation due to flight delays and the hotel was unwilling to issue even a partial refund. If this there level of customer service then I'm glad I did not stay there. I will be back in Cebu for 10 days and I will NOT even consider using this hotel.

Anyone can build a great resort... But the trick is to staff it right and run it well every day. A special "Thank You, to the staff" and to Gecyl and Steffen.

The room we had was great. We rented the villa and it exceeded my expectations . It was a beautifully designed room . With the private pool we had in the room. It was a hit to my kid who loves the water.The whole family enjoyed our stay. The staff are polite and we were taken care of. We also tried the spa of the hotel. We purchased the Romansa package . We enjoyed the massage . However the jacuzzi and sauna needs upgrading . It was out dated for me. Considering the price I paid I was expecting more on the facility . However overall I love the hotel and would definitely come back .

A very well kept hotel and gracious staff. The accomodations were excellent and the rooms spacious. The three onsite restaurants had a large variety of foods and all prepared very nicely. Nice beach and the two pools although crowded were very nice. We spent most of our time at the beach.I did use the gym and the attendent there James was very helpful with the weight equipment. An overall pleasent experience with no ill experiences. Very popular with the Korean traveler.My fiancee and I were very pleased with our stay.

Took my girlfriend on a wonderful and romantic 7 night stay in one of Crimson's Ocean Front Private Pool Villas. The room was clean and comfortable, offering good WiFi and luxurious amenities. The private pool was worth every penny and allowed us to watch the sunrise each morning while taking a relaxing dip. Both the food and customer service were outstanding. I think I will miss the villa breakfast buffet most. I'd recommend Crimson to any friends passing through or looking for a romantic getaway.

The Crimson resort is a safe full service resort. There are many activities and wonderful grounds to stroll. The only fault that I found was that some staff did not speak English well. The concierge would cut off the conversation with a "thank you sir" instead of asking "is there anything else that I could do for you?" or "could I be of further help?" So, the only fault is that some staff are quite curt and stiff and I believe it is due to their lack of facility in the English language. I don't expect someone to have perfect English everywhere I travel but at a facility which is supposedly a 5 star, I should feel well served, a certain warmth from the staff and all interactions staff should end with "is there anything else that I could do for you?" The breakfast buffet was great and the variety of food was spectacular. I enjoyed the beach and the abundance of fish I have not seen before. However, there was a large soaking tub but no product for the tub such as an effervescent bath bomb or bubble bath in the room. There should be products in the room to enjoy the bath tub.

we had a pool villa and enjoyed the comfort and space. one night we left the "do not disturb" sign on the door and somebody called us and mentioned we had the sign up and wanted to know if we wanted the beds turned down. We were surprised and annoyed that she disturbed us, told her so and hung up. 5 or so minutes later she calls back again to explain and apologize. Need to explain what we were doing when she called. One would think when one finds a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign that they would do exactly that. Great location, nice pools, nice beach but the food is I hate to say it "Sub Par". and that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is very disappointing. The breakfast buffet is under staffed and they constantly run out of most things and take too long to restock. We went to the Shangri La just down the road for dinner. That just shouldn't be. Trust me we tried and hoped one day would be better than the last but it wasn't too be. Need more lounge chairs with umbrellas!!! I will also say this is the first time i have ever responded to a comment card so that in itself should catch attention that i am not exaggerating anything i just posted.

my room wasn't cleaned. I had to go out and fetch fresh towels to wash the next morning. They apparently forgot to do it. My villa hostess, Rose, was beyond useless in her ability to help me I would expect a much better experience from a facility of this stature. Five star resort, one star service. I paid over $700 per night for this villa. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. There are better choices at this level. Please consider them

Love this resort. You wouldn’t know a high-quality resort exists on the way to the hotel because you’ll be driving through not-so-nice residential neighborhood. Overall - great experience. Accommodating and friendly hotel staff, great facilities. Two things that really stood out for me was the outstanding kids club facilities and minders (open 8am-9pm) and superb restaurants, especially the Azure beach club. Resort was very nice and private. All I can say is that you have to stay at this resort yourself to experience its high ratings! Only complaint was its location --- it was a bit hard to find and very secluded but once you got there, you wouldn't want to leave!
