Hotel and staff very welcoming , rooms not large but nice and clean We had b&b and breakfast had a good choice , hotel entertainment was ok but did not finish late so we missed it most nights Would come back for a restful break in the sun

Booked on strength of tripadvisor reviews, availability when we wanted to travel & price, we were not disappointed, this hotel met & exceeded our expectations, location is good being right on seafront promenade, the area is flat, some shops, bars & eateries nearby, walk, bus or taxi (4or 5 euros) into centre of Puerto Del Carmen, expansive beach across road, very near airport, short transfer. The staff are what sets this hotel apart, they are cheerful, happy to help & all go beyond the call of duty to ensure your stay is a pleasurable one, they are without exception the best staff we have come across & are a credit to the hotel & company, we will certainly consider using Hipotels group for future holidays. We were on all-inclusive board, which was excellent value, food selection & quality was superb, anything that was supposed to be hot was hot, labeling was excellent, virtually 100%, you are shown to an available table & served drinks by a waiter, tables are cleared efficiently & courteously, there are 2 sittings for evening meal & if you want the earlier sitting you need to request this before 8pm the day before.Waiter service in the bar & poolside bar is again excellent & absolutely no discrimination between paying guests or those on all-inclusive, quite the opposite, if your glass is getting low, the waiters will ask if you want another, the selection of drinks & cocktails on all-inclusive is good with other options available at reduced prices, cold snacks are available are available during the day, along with tea & coffee with a biscuit, proper cups & glasses if you sit by the poolside bar or plastic/polystyrene if you are retuning to your sunbed. Pool area is well laid out, plenty of sunbeds, no reserving for more than 90 mins policy which was policed to some extent, though we did notice some beds towelled & unused for long periods, brolleys are fixed so can't be moved around, though you can get shade from trees if you want it, there is a spa area for massage & sauna. We fail to see how anyone can't be impressed by this hotel.

Went with 2 pre teen children and loved this hotel. Staff were so friendly, especially Andre and Joselin at the pool bar, and I really liked that you could sit at the tables at the beach bar and have waited service for drinks. Sunbed rule works well (can't leave towels on empty sunbeds for more than 90 minutes) and lovely pool (though rule about no inflatables seemed to depend on which lifeguard was on duty). No music meant nice and peaceful around the pool. All inclusive good was good, plentiful sandwiches, salad and fruit salad available outside of the restaurant. Loved having Cava available with breakfast in the restaurant! Promenade straight out the back gate of the hotel so easy to walk along and beach was lovely too. Shops close by, also easy to get a bus to Playa Blanca if you want a change of scenery. My children enjoyed it and if definitely like to go back here.

What a fantastic hotel! reception well staffed & booking in a very simple procedure, nice touch your bags are taken to your room for you. Rooms are medium size but well furnished withe exception no tea or coffee making facilities & there is a,very good maid service daily to a very high standard. We had a pool facing room with balcony, rooms contain a fridge & TV at no extra cost, use of the safe is at a small deposit & daily charge which was quite reasonable, air con also at no additional cost. The hotel has two restaurants you can use either & the food was of a very good quality, fantastic variety it would be very hard to complain. In both restaurants you are taken to your table by a waiter all very professional & drinks are brought to your table. The sweets are phenomenal so you need to watch your waistline there that good. One large pool with an area secured for children, a lifeguard is on call at all times but in November the pool was very cold. There is a pool bar again with waiter service in the immediate pool bar area. Other facilities massage & sauna, a gym which we never found, crazy golf & the gardens are beautiful. At no time did we struggle or feel the need to reserve sun beds there were ample. The beach is literally 20 metres across the road & is huge & another point little ones can not get out of the grounds with out a security card This is a beautiful resort quite flat with some lovely walks, this is a fabulous place to stay & I would certainly stay here again, highly recommended & certainly worth is 4 star + status.

We visited this hotel in november and found it to be very clean and well presented. We stayed as B&B customers and had a great choice of food for breakfast. The pool is big and there are plenty of sunbeds (no towels before 9am) Hotel is located close to the beach and has some bars/restaurants close by. However, if you want more shops and bars it's quite a way to walk (although I think there are buses every 20 mins in peak season). We stayed in November and whilst the hotel was still busy, the guests were mainly mature German visitors. I wouldn't stay here if i was looking for a lively venue or if I had children as no other kids to play with. However, if you're looking for a relaxed stay, at a great hotel then this place is for you. I would stay here again

Our first time in Lanzarote and we both really enjoyed the hotel. The staff make this hotel and they were all extremely helpful and attentive, probably the best staff we have encountered on a all inclusive holiday. The entrainment was fine with table service in the evenings but again the waiting staff were pretty good even at busy times. Great location just outside of the main town, large beach opposite. The only downside for us was the hotel seemed to attract the older generation, so at times we felt a bit out of place. Regardless we had a great time, thank you Hipotels La Geria.

Myself and 9 year old son travelled end of October. Positives Brilliant weather Location is fantastic just a hop skip and a jump away from the lovely clean beach Cleanliness overall is very good Decent size rooms all seem to be sea views. Food is quite good Staff quite happy and pleasant Waiter served drinks Entertainment average Negatives So called kids club terrible !!..Nothing going on for kids ( the young girl was terrible needs sacking)so does the guy with stubble/beard scruffy looking Dismal the pair of them .The younger lad was ok. All inclusive drinks are awful... Cocktails are full of sugar absolutely disgusting . Soft drinks are flat and very poor quality . This hotel is more suited for the mature holiday maker.Whom seem to go back year after year and look upon young families as aliens stealing their peace and tranquility! A splash of pool water upon them is frowned upon !!! What ever you do don't take a Water lilo you'll probably be evicted!!.. Pool is COLD! This hotel is a couple of miles from Puerto del Carmen centre. Not far from the airport only €12 in a taxi Having visited Would I return ???... Location is a big plus. I've Been in better All inclusive hotels So I would probably return on a half board basis and give the drinks a miss !!! Having said that we are trying the Sol Lanzarote hotel (just up the road)in April so will have something to compare to in the same vicinity .

Just home after our 9 day holiday at La Geria and really enjoyed our stay. Had read previous reviews on here and decided all these people can't be wrong. We know not to believe every review but to use as a guide and make up our own minds. Our transfer and check in were very quick and our room spotless. I know some people have said their rooms were on the small side but they are after all just for sleeping in. The area is spotless and there is a promenade which one way you can wslk into Puerto del Carmen and walk the other way you can walk all the way to the airport. Beach is amazing one of the best we have seen on the island. Food was varied and well cooked/presented, daytime entertainment we can't comment on as we didn't join in but I don't think many others did either, evenings there was the usual mini disco at around half seven then nothing until the entertainment at 9.30 pm some acts better than others. Never had full waiter service before at an All Inc holiday and some evenings were better than others regarding attention from the bar staff then when my husband had words it was embarrassingly OTT for the rest of the evening. Apart from Manu and Manuel I am sorry I can't remember any names but everyone works really hard. Will we go back...... yes we will. Went with Jet2 as a package holiday and cannot fault them at all.

The hotel is fine but some of the waiting staff can be surly. It does not state on their website that there is a dress code for dinner but there is. We were not aware of this until the third evening of our stay when we were refused entry to dinner, even though we were all inclusive. We decided to complain & eat elsewhere. No manager on site to deal with the complaint so we have taken it to our tour operator. Wouldn’t come back.

Stayed here for 10 nights check in was swift after a very quick transfer from airport. The room was on 4th floor, the room is on the small side but enough for our needs and it was always spotlessly clean - all rooms look to have a view of the pool/beach front. Restaurant service was excellent however if you wish to eat early you should make a point of booking a table. The restaurant was kept tidy and the quality of the food was superb probably the best we have had. Evening was table service in the bar, waiters were very quick at remembering orders Manuel and Goyo in particular. AI Drinks selection were fine and with no adverse effects - if you want to request international drink then a top-up charge is applied but not necessary in my opinion as the AI's are fine. Pool area was always clean, plenty of sun beds available however some areas become shaded mid afternoon, the pool is cold but you do get use to it. Entertainment was provided by Animation team during the day usual shooting, aquafit, etc and professional acts in the evening all the ones we watched were very good. I would highly recommend this hotel if you like to be at a quieter resort and would like to state that the staff are excellent.
