Thank you for staying with us! Please make yourself at home. We are located in an area called Parrot Cove which has many charming, historic houses. You will find most of the things you need, if there is something that you don't have that would make your stay better please let us know!

** There is absolutely NO smoking permitted on the property or in the home.

** Quiet hours are 10 PM - 8AM

** Maximum occupancy 6 people any more than that is considered a party... no parties.

** Booking guests must stay in the home during duration of visit

** No overnight guests not previously disclosed to the host

** No illegal drugs or other illegal activities

** Any pungent odor left in the home that requires a deep clean will result in an additional cleaning fee of not more than $300

** Please notify host of any damage to the property immediately So that we are able to remedy the situation for the next guest.

** Please keep the house dirt/bug free by keeping the doors and windows closed

** The thermostat is set for a comfortable range. If you find that it is either too cold or too hot, please let us know and we can change it remotely. (please don’t bump the temperature up or down too quickly. Let us know so that we can adjust it so that it does not get overworked)

Front foyer: This room is for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and reading a book, or simply watching the goings by of the day. You also find games and extra bedding for the sofa sleeper in the large armoire.

Living room: To operate the above ceiling fan and light, simply use the white remote control... for TV use rectangle remote to turn on an alternate remote to change channels and volume.

Fireplace: Upon arriving in the home the fireplace damper will always be in the shut locked position. When using fireplace unlatch chain in upper back,  right hand corner to release and OPEN Spring loaded damper. When not in use please pull down and re-latch chain to close. PLEASE do not use lighter fluid or any foreign materials to start fire. Do not burn anything other than dry firewood...i.e. Plastic, food scraps, wax paper, wet wood. ALWAYS keep fire screen in front of the fireplace. Never leave children unattended near the fireplace. PLEASE do not sit on hearth.

Kitchen: Range is gas operated so if you're not familiar with operating a gas stove please call and we will walk you through it!

Hallway closet: You will find extra paper products and towels and linens here.

Master bedroom closet: Extra chairs for dining room table.

Outdoor porch room: Broom and dust pan and vacuum.

** If you use the barbecue grill please make sure that it is turned off and the propane tank is turned off, cool and recovered..If you use up all the propane please refill it for the next renter. Refills can be made at The convenience store/gas station at 401 Lake Ave.
(If you kill it please refill it)

Cleaning: everything is supplied for normal light cleaning during your stay. If you plan on staying longer than a week and would like to do laundry there is a laundromat located one block directly behind the house.

**Pets and smoking: There is absolutely no smoking or pets allowed in the home.

**Garbage disposal: PLEASE do not put anything other than normal light scraps down the disposal... i.e. Shrimp tails, chicken bones, or anything else not intended for garbage disposals as this could incur a damage fee.

**Bathroom: PLEASE do not flush any feminine paper products or otherwise down the drain as this could incur a maintenance fee of up to $500

Windows: PLEASE close all windows and doors while Air-condition is running. Lock and secure all windows and doors when leaving the property.
