The common areas were freezing cold. They used outdoor propane heaters in the dining room which is very dangerous and ineffective. The beef which I ordered medium was almost raw. The cook could be heard screaming in the kitchen which made me not want to bother sending it back. They undercharged us and then called our next hotel to ask them to tell us we owed them money instead of reaching out to us. It was their error and of course we paid the balance due but they implied that we skipped out which was awkward.

We prepaid and then they demanded that we pay them again at the end of our stay. It was too early in the morning to fight and we were running late for our flight from Julliaca. The desk person was worthless. We will have to notify Travelocity about the problem and get a refund. Good location, but there are better.

Lovely hotel but Supervision needed

Beautiful, interesting decor. There’s an elevator which is essential at that altitude. The room was comfortable. My issues were with the lack of attention to detail. There was one hand towel and bath towel and we were short on shampoo. After arriving really late and leaving for our tour at 5:50 am, there was no time to address this. The boxed breakfast left much to be desired. The positive was that the front desk personnel were very personable.

Great stay in Puno at this hotel. The breakfasts were great and we also had one meal there. Location was perfect, right on the main square and as we had a car the parking was a bonus

Very nice stay with great Breakfast Buffet

Very nice hotel. Clean, room, comfortable beds. We did have a street side room and would recommend that the higher up you go the less street noise you might hear during the night. Great Breakfast Buffet with some of the best taquitos and guacamole we had the entire time we were in Peru.

Welcoming and spacious

We stayed only one night, in the spacious Presidential Suite to celebrate my spouse's birthday. It was already chilly when we arrived, and when the heaters in our space did not work, one of the staff came and built a lovely fire to keep us warm. The breakfast buffet was especially good. The hotel seems a bit dated, but welcoming. We didn't have time to explore around the hotel, but it is located very near the main plaza and many restaurants.

Nice hotel and location

I stayed in the "Presidential Suite" (basically a regular suite with Jacuzzi). Very nice for the price. We were tired due to altitude and was nice to be able to have a sofa to rest and eat take out at dinning table and rest. The drinks in the minibar were very reasonably priced ($1/per soda bottle). Truly worthy extra $20/day.

Very elegant for the $

We stayed 2 nights with a gap in between while we went on an overnight homestay on Lake Titicaca. They stored our excess luggage while we were gone. The second day we had to leave before breakfast service to catch a bus and they gave us a delightful box breakfast to go.

nice location nice hotel despite a few hiccups

we booked this hotel as a treat for the end of our holiday. On arrival they had no record of our booking but after showing emails etc we were able to stay in the room we had booked. The room itself initially appears very nice and very spacious, with the spa bath we were looking forward to after several days hiking. Unfortunately one if the sinks leaked quite badly and smelt very strongly of drains. There are two sinks in the bathroom so as we were only there for one night we used the other sink. Whilst attending to the water on the floor I notices around the bottom of the bath wasn't particularly clean and the seal was coming away. We asked for a table to be booked at a local restaurant and when we arrived it had been booked at a different time fortunately they were able to accommodate us. On the positive we has an early start the next morning and breakfast was served early at request. The location is good close to the main square and tourist area
