We stayed here for a business trip and it was perfect. Surrounded by great views, many restaurant choices and great accommodations. We will be back for a weekend getaway.
Very much enjoyed my stay at Squaw Village! I hope to return this winter!
Great area, lots to do. The room was huge! Overall great experience.
Great location for hiking, dining and golf. Unit was clean, well furnished, comfortable place to bring in food for dinner. Great outdoor jacuzzi. Only downside was our unit seemed to trap the heat -- it never got below 80 overnight.
Had a great time skiing at Squaw. Room was great. They upgraded us to a two bedroom which was perfect for the family. Nice not to have to pull out the couch!
The room was not clean and amenities were very old. Very poor room service.
Finest hotel and convenience location It would have been better without the heavy pine smell
The location couldn't be more perfect. Nestled in the middle of one of the most beautifully serene settings you could think of - yet with plenty to do. Just 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe so that you can also take advantage of that experience if you choose.
Front desk manager was horrible. Manager Michelle was cold and unhelpful. Mixup with our room and another couple entered as we were unpacking. Called front desk and Michelle said to come down and would get us in another room. We packed up ALL our stuff and carted down to the front desk, only to have her say she would not switch us rooms and we were to go back up to our room. Then our key cards would not work. She was terrible. This was our honeymoon. The dishwasher fell out of its housing. Refrig water would not work. Place was horrible. Portable AC unit plugged in to wall. Floor heaters broken.
Great place to stay. Very clean rooms. Awesome view from room. Bathroom big and spacious. However bed was a bit uncomfortable tossed and turned all night. Definitely would go back
Everything is amazing. I love the environment and the view.
A great resort to have good family time. Perfect place to explore lake tahoe and squaw valley resort. Great summer and winter destination for a complete family vacation.
Beautiful location relaxing. Fun riding the tram to top of mountain
i stayed at the village at squaw valley with my son for a work funtction i was hosting. it was great. we shopped and enjoyed the squaw village and the room was awesome.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel was right in the middle of the village and we got a free upgrade. Best thing about staying in the village is you park your car and don't have to worry about driving anywhere the village has it all We can't wait to book another trip like this one. Bill
Really enjoyed The Village at Squaw Valley. The best part is that you don't have to get out of the village for anything. Restaurants, stores, snow activities are all in the village. The jacuzzi and sauna were great. Staying at the village also provides underground parking which was very convenient. The one bedroom condo fits 4 people, which was fine, but the sofa bed was super uncomfortable and we couldn't adjust the room temperature. The staff was great, the first room we were assigned had a few glitches when we got there, and they were quick to come and fix as well as give us a different room. Overall it was a nice getaway, I would definitely do it again.
We came up here to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with friends in Truckee. The skilifts had just opened, and the play seem to be getting into full swing still. I thought the stuff was helpful and happy that the season was beginning. My only misgivings about giving a higher rating are that our room phone never worked, and they did not fix it during the course of our stay. also the pull out sofa bed in the main room was crazy uncomfortable. I know that manufactures have yet to make a comfortable sofa bed mattress, but it really detracted from The sleeping experience. They could maybe provide air cushions (like the pads you use under your sleeping bag when you camp) to place between the mattress and the people sleeping on it to give less of a sense that there is a spring poking you in the back when you sleep on it. I also had some misinformation from the front desk. When we first arrived we were told to purchase tram tickets from them at a discount. So we didn't purchase them at the station and walked back. Only to find out that the front desk did not have any offers for the aerial tramway after all. So it was a bit of a wasted walk. Other than that, it was a good stay, and for the same price, I would stay again.
There is Covered Parking available. But you need to remind the staff that you are interested in this option.
We had a wonderful time, very nice condo 1 bedroom suite with a great balcony view. My husband loved the underground garage and could imagine how convenient that would have been in the winter snow. Only bad thing was the King size bed mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, not good for sleeping. Overall though we had a terrific 3 day weekend in beautiful Squaw Valley for a very good value.
The Village is very nice, several buildings located in the Village. An upgraded room to see the mountain is very nice and very convenient to the slopes. The only thing is the noise, trucks delivering first thing in the morning to the restaurant/bar below and groomers working on the mountain can wake you up. Very comfortable accommodations/beds, kitchen, living space. TV's are small. Staff is friendly but not very knowledgeable...wrong about times for market, night skiing, better to look up on your own. Food is good, pricey on the mountain like all resorts.

great place, but rooms too hot.

Kevin, thank you for staying with us, and taking the time to give us your feed back. I am very happy to see you enjoyed your time with us, and enjoyed much of what we have to offer. We have been having an abnormally hot summer, though if this happens again in the future you can ask the front desk if you can be moved to a cooler room, and as always we can have someone help you with your bags.
