We had so much fun here! Definitely family-oriented and VERY clean, nice rooms too! We will be going back.

Great spot close to heavenly. The studio had a curtain between our bed and the kids on the sofa bed. That was nice!

We had a wonderful stay here except one thing which can be a bit trivial and may be our fault anyway. The three nights we stayed our room was not cleaned once. On the first day the maids came around 5pm and we had already been out in the snow all day and did not want to leave so they could clean so we declined. We never heard from them again. It would have been nice if they came earlier in the day while we were not in the room and cleaned it. By the end of three days the place was pretty disheveled and trash was overflowing. Other than that it was great! We could have asked them to come and been more proactive and I am sure they would have made it happen. I just was preoccupied with getting as much out of our three days in the snow that I just blew it off. The staff were very friendly and I am sure they would have done whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely return and just take our room cleanliness into our own hands :)

Everything was good except 2 things: - the room was too small for 5 person (2 adults, 3 kids) - the breakfast selection was very little. There was only boiled eggs, toast and donut. So the European people don't eat donut for breakfast. In this case I had only toast with boiled egg every morning.

It's as if they took an old conventional motel and renovated it, turning the rooms into two level suites. A curtain separated the two levels. Two big flat screen TV's were nice too. A very good value.

We stayed here twice now and each time it has been great. It is not as close to the gondala as other hotels are, but the amenitites are owrth it.

Wonderful!! Everything was very good! Breakfast can be a little better? Thanks for your attention!!'

The hotel is located near the village, but off of the noisy main drag. The property is a big aged, and the room layouts are kind of odd, especially the step s down to the kitcheonette and bathroom. The biggest drawback is the lack of AC. It was 12:30 AM before my room was sool enough to go to sleep the first night. This was more of an issue since I was dressing up for a wedding than if I had just been hanging out on vacation. The availability of bicycles and other gear is a nice perk and I enjoyed a ride around part of the Lake. The staff were all super nice.

Remodeled old motel. Nice clean room, Great staff. Breakfast was lame - fruit, donuts, instant oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, lousy coffee. Nothing available before 7am, no coffee in the room (bring your own) though there was a coffeemaker. Good location near Stateline. Lots of families with kids (including mine) so it was very noisy/busy until 10pm. People were respectful of noise curfew. I enjoyed some quiet time at the pool during the day when everyone was out. We were given a pass to a beach club but never got there.

A fantastic find for a family of four. Lots of space and having two full bathrooms plus a kitchen was great.

this is my second time staying here .very friendly staff.Room was very clean ,just there for one day most of the time we were out. kids love the heated pool

The front desk staff were very friendly and eager to please. The room decor was a bit dated but the room was comfortable. There was kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, hot plate, dinnerware, sink. The how're was powerful and spacious. We didn't use the pool or hot tub - as it was full of people. Plenty of parking, quiet room back from the street. Would recommend and would stay again for sure, but next time would get a larger room - studio is a little small even for the two of us and our 10-yr old. A very pleasant stay.

I always come to the Americana Village because it is my favorite hotel to stay at in South Lake Tahoe. It was my girlfriend's first time their and she loved it too. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much!

Great staff, room outdated but clean. Location a 10 minute walk from Gondola.

You have two options when you're at S Lake Tahoe: Pay exorbitant rates to stay at big casino hotels or go with 1-3 star, old, rundown hotels that are long due for a renovation. Americana is nice, clean, reasonably priced, and has a staff that treats you like family. Kids love the heated pool, activities center, and free video library. Location is great (10-15 minute walking distance to casinos). My search in Tahoe is over.

Thank You Americana Village Suites for a wonderful place to have a family vacation! My family would definitely enjoy staying here again. We enjoyed your heated pool, hot tub, full kitchen and free laundry room use. The room was very comfortable and roomy. The full kitchen came in handy to save on some of our meals and besides we like home cooked meals. Much Mahalo's

room was very clean staff was very friendly kids enjoyed heated pool a plus , price was good, not a big room. would stay there again.traffic noise can be a problem if u like to keep the window open

This was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for a ski trip. The rooms were spacious, and they provided everything, from plates to cups to extra pillows and towels. There was even a full-sized fridge and a microwave in the kitchen. Free continental breakfast was great before we headed to the slopes, and free DVD rentals were great after we came back from a full day on the slopes. The location is convenient as well, as it was within walking distance to the Heavenly Gondola. I would definitely recommend this and gladly come back again.

Very kid friendly, staff was awesome! Will always stay here!

Peferct layout for room. Loctation is a plus. The price is just right. walking distance to everything.
