Highly recommend you stay in this place when you trave to Lake Tahoe. Cozy place, clean and it feels like you are at home!

Great dog friendly hotel. The "Secret Garden" had an enclosed dog run with nice grass and shade with a couple benches. The water dish was always empty and the hose was locked so no way for us to fill up the water unfortunately. The rooms are decent sized with a kitchenette and it was very clean. Loved the large shower and privacy curtain in the room. I knew from previous comments there was no AC. The rooms got a little warm at night but our room had a ceiling fan and 2 additional fans that did help alot. Parking was pretty tight on Friday and Saturday night but they did allow us to park in a handicapped spot overnight as the lot was full. Would definitely stay there again when traveling with our dog. He gave it a paws up too!

We enjoyed our stay at Americana Village. The rooms were spacious and accommodating. We had a deluxe king studio with kitchenette. Enough room for the 2 of us plus one maltipoo. The amenities were also great. Free continental breakfast every morning. Swimming pool, bike rental, activity center with ping pong, corn hole, horse shoe etc. Staff were always cleaning, sanitizing everything. We would definitely consider staying at AV again during our future Tahoe visits.

The hotel is clean, cozy and it is in great location. You can use the grill ,the pool is warm .

Real easy to find and right in town walking distance to everything.

I was a little annoyed at check in because our room was not ready and we had to wait almost an hour. The woman checking us in was not particularly apologetic, just sort of matter of fact. Thankfully it got better from there. I was pleasantly surprised during the rest of our stay how accommodating and friendly the rest of the staff were, answering our questions and honoring our requests. The breakfast was okay, on par with other hotels in the area in the same star category. Overall, would stay again.

popcorn and movies, location, super baby friendly room

This property had something to do for everyone. Location was great central to different things. Has a family/camping feel - we loved it!!! Definitely would come back to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times.

Child friendly! When I had a concern in how to turn on the shower they sent maintenance over and he arrived in minutes! Clean and comfortable place.

We had so much fun here! Definitely family-oriented and VERY clean, nice rooms too! We will be going back.

Great spot close to heavenly. The studio had a curtain between our bed and the kids on the sofa bed. That was nice!

We had a wonderful stay here except one thing which can be a bit trivial and may be our fault anyway. The three nights we stayed our room was not cleaned once. On the first day the maids came around 5pm and we had already been out in the snow all day and did not want to leave so they could clean so we declined. We never heard from them again. It would have been nice if they came earlier in the day while we were not in the room and cleaned it. By the end of three days the place was pretty disheveled and trash was overflowing. Other than that it was great! We could have asked them to come and been more proactive and I am sure they would have made it happen. I just was preoccupied with getting as much out of our three days in the snow that I just blew it off. The staff were very friendly and I am sure they would have done whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely return and just take our room cleanliness into our own hands :)

Everything was good except 2 things: - the room was too small for 5 person (2 adults, 3 kids) - the breakfast selection was very little. There was only boiled eggs, toast and donut. So the European people don't eat donut for breakfast. In this case I had only toast with boiled egg every morning.

It's as if they took an old conventional motel and renovated it, turning the rooms into two level suites. A curtain separated the two levels. Two big flat screen TV's were nice too. A very good value.

We stayed here twice now and each time it has been great. It is not as close to the gondala as other hotels are, but the amenitites are owrth it.

Wonderful!! Everything was very good! Breakfast can be a little better? Thanks for your attention!!'

The hotel is located near the village, but off of the noisy main drag. The property is a big aged, and the room layouts are kind of odd, especially the step s down to the kitcheonette and bathroom. The biggest drawback is the lack of AC. It was 12:30 AM before my room was sool enough to go to sleep the first night. This was more of an issue since I was dressing up for a wedding than if I had just been hanging out on vacation. The availability of bicycles and other gear is a nice perk and I enjoyed a ride around part of the Lake. The staff were all super nice.
