Squaw Valley Lodge

Our room faced the mountain which was gorgeous . as it was also above the ski path, it was very noisy in the Early morning or late in the evening when the ski mobiles and grooming machine went by. We didn't mind it because the view was lovely. We will definitely stay here again.

Unbeatable everytime! You are just across from Funitel. In our last stay we literally snowboarded to our room! Skip the terrible food at squaw valley cafeterias and just step back into your room on a snap for a real meal and go bk for drinks at k2 bar if u want the social scene. Rooms have different decor, you maybe lucky to stay at the most updated ones (we have many times) but don’t matter which room you stay, convenience is a plus, plus. Very accommodating staff, indoor jacuzzi, laundry, you name it!

Staff, facilities, closeness to everything and views were just exceptional.

Great bang for your buck! Lodge conveniently located right next to shops and restaurants. Lots of hiking trails behind the hotel. Large pool and several spas! Stayed in a large, spacious, clean, 2 bedroom loft for a fraction of the cost of nearby hotels.

The studio was much larger then we had expected. Very happy with our room & location. We will definitely come back!

Drove up from SF very late Thursday, easiest check-in ever with protected unloading area. Out unto the ski trail @ 8:30A, a few steps to the ticket office. Next day to Alpine Meadows, a easy free bus ride letting us off right at the front door. No parking lot walk. Yea the room is a little dated, but it was clean and was cleaned by a great staff.

5th year in a row, never disappoints. stay for at least a week!

Extremely convenient location, very friendly staff, full kitchen in the well conditioned room - what more do you need to have for skiing in Olympic Valley?

It was excellent but the water was clogges. Shower water did not go through so i showered in my own filth water

Rooms are outdated and beds were uncomfortable. Location was excellent and the ladies at the front desk were really nice.

Very convenient. room is clean and staffs are friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Squaw Valley Lodge. It was just walking distance to the Village. Nice hotel .

We stayed in mid summer and my wife and I enjoyed everything about the lodge. We will be back for sure and may even try a winter getaway.

Great location, next to the slopes.

I stayed at the Squaw Valley Lodge for my trip to run the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. The hotel could not have been any closer to the start of the race and race registration. And only steps farther were many eating establishments. I stayed at SQL only before the race and not afterwards, so I did not use the excellent fitness center with a Skier's Edge machine (you don't see those everywhere) I'm also disappointed that I did not have the chance to use the steam sauna. I did enjoy the beautiful lobby, early morning coffee, and the very helpful staff that told me about all the other events going on. The only negatives were that it was unseasonably hot and the room did not have air conditioning, oh well, it's a ski area! And the pull string on one of the window blinds was broken restricting the breeze from that one window.

the lodge is a great location to ski at Squaw. The lift is right outside of the door! It was great to be able to ski in for lunch, and take a hot tub at the end of the day.

loved the stay. we had a 2 bedroom condo. wish both the bedrooms had a king size bed though.

We stayed in a studio loft right after Thanksgiving for a family vacation. The unit was spacious, almost too large for 3 of us. Furnished nicely. Had all basic equipment in kitchen to easily prepare take/bake entrees and quick salad. Loved the loft (especially our kid) - roomy, more like a master bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, TV, etc. It seemed like easy ski-in/out in high season. (we had to take gondola up to snow) Pool was open and hot tub was nice and hot, too. Hallway and public area had lots of space to accommodate carrying in/out outdoor gears. No restaurant was attached to the lodge though it was a very short walk to the Village. Front people were nice and efficient. Overall very relaxing, rejuvenating experience.

There was no air conditioner ... Only one fan ... 95 Dergrees hot... Need to get a solution to accommodate your guests

Very Relaxing.... Peaceful!!! No Central Air... Very Hot!!!
