Pros: Check in was quick and easy. Parking is free. (garage and parking lot) The deluxe king room was very spacious. The room was clean. Large flat screen tv Bathroom is huge Cons: Bathroom lighting could improve (its dim). No vanity mirror in the bathroom and since the lighting was so dim, it was hard to put on makeup in the mornings. Peeling on the bathroom ceiling. Overall, I enjoyed the stay with the exception of one incident. On the first night, my husband and I were awakened in the middle of the night by the deafening emergency alarm on our floor. It went off for about 15 minutes. Imagine a police siren going off in your bedroom for 15 minutes. That's what it sounded like. We weren't evacuated or given any info. They finally turned it off but it was such an annoyance after the long drive up there when all we wanted was a good nights rest. We were also on a non smoking floor but I saw guests smoking on our floor anyway. They need to enforce their policies or risk losing business.

Can't open the windows. So can't air out the room. Clean and spacious room. Maybe book somewhere else if your not doing the spa.. because you will have to pay the resort fee..plus room rate

great value. This hotel is new, clean, quite and close to the slopes. Among all the hotels I have been in this area, this is the best.

Room was nice, clean and close to everything. check in and out was fast

Nice rooms, indoor pool was only reason why stayed.

This hotel offers a lot. Great location. Kids love the pool. Updated rooms are nice and clean. We would like to see more hooks in the bathroom and hallway for hanging up snow clothes and bathing suits. Also the plugs were a bit janky and our phones wouldn't charge. Other than that, it's great value!

We always love to stay at Monte Bleu! It's clean, comfortable and a very nice convenient size. Not too large that you get lost trying to find your room :)

If the water in the pool would have been warm it would be perfect

Good location to take the kids sledding or just to play in the snow.

The room was recently renovated and the new bathroom was well done. The shower was huge and really comfortable. The chairs around the desk were a different story. They were so uncomfortable that about 5 minutes was about all the time you could sit in the chairs. The bed was even worse, like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Very difficult to sleep even after an eight and a half hour drive to get to Tahoe.

I had very low expectations for $80 per night. It was one of the best places ever.

Terrible experience. I had a confirmed room but no room was available on checkin day (waited until 10:30pm) forcing me to make alternative plans

The room is dirty. The bed sheets are not ironed and the probably not washed because there re stains on the sheet. The pillows are so uncomfortable. The price should be in the 80-90 dollar/night range.

The front desk lady was friendly and I didn't have to wait in line to check in. The room was updated and spacious. I loved the bathroom and the shower. Had a nice view outside and their tv was bigger than most of the other hotels. Overall I was comfortable and would stay there again.

it was good. we like the room and the parking. it was easy to get a parking.

Nice room Good location Had a big shower and bathroom It wasnt a bad place to stay but nothing extraordinary either

Was not the best stay, but ok, loved the food cafe.

Hotel was very clean and updated. Great cigar store if that is your thing. Security staff was all friendly to talk to and even have a conversation with. Not as busy as I would have liked but it was the middle of the week so I can't expect a lot. Would definitely recommend Montbleu

Room seems new and big, but later we found that there is no bathtub! There are three casino hotels in the same area, this one is the most expensive one, almost twice price as the other two. The reason we choose Montbleu is that we saw the big and nice bathtub picture on its website! Then we called the front desk, wait on line about 10 mins, and ask if we could pay to upgrade to rooms with bathtub, and we were told that they removed bathtubs in most rooms last year and we need to pay extra $200 to get a room with bathtub! And later we found there were some black and pink spots on the towels!

Took my step-mom for her first time to Tahoe and they upgraded her room to a lake view which I appreciated. However, the cleanliness detail to dusting and vacuuming needed attention through out the rooms and hotel. Hallways looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum in weeks. The truck displayed in the casino probably hadn't been cleaned since it was brought in. It had a thick layer of dust and smoke on it.
