My overall hotel experience i can say is average the room was nice a the view was great but not what i seen in the advertiswment i thought there was gonna be like a outside patio that you can hangout with love ones while enjoying the sites. Also hust the little amenities like a personal coffe maker a mircowave that you can warm food would really much appreciated also the long pillows way to hard. However the staff is very friendly and the stay is comfortable

We somehow purchased the "value" room, in essence we had a room that was not what we wanted, two double beds instead of one king, noisy, smokey{extremely strong smell of pot all around}, Just generally not a pleasant place for a couple . Doors were so loud and squeaky that they woke us up everytime someone opened their door. Front desk staff was rude and impatient on the phone. Would not recommend this place at all, very low budget room for 140 per night.

Nice location......bed was comfortable.......carpet had stains on it....but for the price I paid, it was nice.

Probably the 4th nicest hotel of the big four in South Lake Tahoe as far as rooms go but also the least expensive. Casino, bars and restaurants are as good as the others. Atmosphere seems to be more exciting than the others. Upgrade the hotel part and this is the spot to be in SLT.

I stayed at the Hard Rock because there was an event I was attending at Harveys, and their price was twice the amount.. The decor was super fun. We got upgraded to a suit, in the smoking tower. Neither me or my husband smoke, and there was no offensive oder. I would defiantly stere there again.

The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, but no hot water for shower. Hotel staff indicated it was an on-going problem with dated facilities.

I was so excited to stay here at first. The room looks ok at first. Started noticing the roach motel by the bed and then an old cigarette butt on the floor. The faucet had toothpaste on it. My son wanted to take a bath and I was honestly afraid to let him. I attributed that and AC not working and hall noise to why my whole family couldn't sleep. Had to crank AC down really low and turn TV on to go to sleep at 1:30! Decided to tough it out for another night since we "learned the trick" to sleep. Faucet still not cleaned and my son said black bug crawling in bathroom. Like an idiot we still stayed. Turned on TV, cranked AC.... 1:45 in morning I wake up to weird noise. Guess the room above us had their toilet overflow. Let me say I have never seen that much water other than in a shower. It was pouring out of the heat lamp fixture!!! I went to call front desk. Cordless phone in room didn't have a charge! I walked down hall and stopped a really nice maintenance man. He turned off what ever was leaking and had front desk call me. (Had charge then) Front desk asked if I wanted to stay in room or move. And if I wanted to move if I wanted to come to service desk or have a bell hop bring me the key. Really?? Nice bell hop brought me key and offered to help. Next room better but had someone's pills on the floor!!! At check out they offered to take resort fee off($25 a night) After my displeasure said he'd "try" to refund one night. Photo doesn't do it justice. Don't use!!

Overall I was pleased with this hotel, but they need to significantly improve their security. They have an issue with homeless people using the pool to clean themselves off. There is multiple way to get to the Pool and none of those entrances require a hotel card or are monitored. Only when guests complain did I see security show up and remove the people. One guy sat next to me and took out a very large knife which he used to parse up used cigarettes. They simply need to improve Security. Other than that major issue I enjoyed my stay. The Hotel itself is dark as mentioned by other reviewers. The staff was very friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. Oh and every day the trash can by the Pool is overflowing by 3 PM. Either put in additional cans or have it emptied.

Good deal at a fair rate in a rockin hotel. Soon as checked in went to the nearby beach for a few and then drive down to Emerald Bay for great views/photo ops roadside as the sun played with the scenery. Because the mountains are so high, the sunset seemed to last forever because, as we drove after being left in shadow at Emerald Bay back up to the Hardrock, we could see the colors of another sunset around and behind the side of the mountains we were clearing. Stopped at an eatery favored by the year-round locals and hung out so late that just had time to shower and sleep. The shower on the 14th floor was slow draining (which we were assured maintenance will be taking care of), but the complimentary toiletries smelled awesome. How in this day and age where everyone has a smartphone do they not have plugs nearer to the bed to charge bedside? Had to put a lamp and room phone on the floor to be able to drag an endtable around the corner near a plug at the foot of the bed so our phones could charge within reach. All in all the best deal in a highly priced area.

Had a balcony room facing lake tahoe was breathtaking room had a had a flat screen tv in hd room was verry clean in my oppinion "eds were also comfy. If you want coffee in the morning bring your own kuerig lol no coffee maker or frig

It was nasty all around, sheets had blood stains, I call housekeeping to came and clean, they never showed up, I had to cleaned the bathroom myself and use only one of the beds, I went to talk to the manager at the help desk and he only offered to discounted 25 dollars from the 320 dollars I was charged, I will never come back, too dirty for a new hotel

Good hotel close to every thing , but the food so expensive and the room so hot the Air condition not working in the room.

Our room was in the old tower, fourth floor. It was so loud there! Doors slam loudly here. You could hear people talking in the parking lot & through next room. The room was extremely hot despite the air-conditioner "on". We called front desk for a fan and they said they had none left. To add a cherry on top, the fire alarm went off at about 9 o'clock (not so pleasant to wake up to after going to bed at 5am). Had to call front desk to find out if was a true emergency. Overall, I would not recommend a stay here.

Had a great time, will be back. The special Birthday surprise was great , my niece loved it, thank you Jeri

Overall the location of the hotel was great, the music decor all over was awesome. I loved having all 3 casinos within walking distance. Our balcony view was nice. The smell of cigarettes was right when you enter, since the casino is on the opposite side of the hotel. The casino itself was a little outdated we went to Harahs and Harvey's and they both had newer machines and didn't smell of ciggarettes. I probably wouldn't stay at a hote casino again, I'd prefer a smaller hote nearby.

Strong nicotine smell in the lobby ant at the room.

Website said 3 o'clock check-in we were there at three or not able to check in till 430 very rude staff dirty hotel maybe $100 a night hotel not $285 a night would never go there again or recommend them have stated many hotels in our life this was one of the worst ones

Our room was clean, the bed was wonderful, and staff was the BEST!

Great location. Restaurants are intimate and food was great. Love the restaurants open until super late. Nightlife is definately alive

Good stay...food options at location was bad but in area was good..... 50 characters
