Loved this place. It was perfect for our little weekend getaway. As we were diving to Tahoe, they called to let me know our room was ready and we could check in early. When we got there, the fire was roaring, there was free coffee, waters, and snacks and our bed was turned down. The fireplace was great, it was a very snowy and cold weekend. The facility was incredibly clean. This was a little gem, so glad we stayed here rather than one of the casinos. Check in and check out was fast and easy. They have a free breakfast that’s small but great to get the day started.

Quiet and beautiful grounds, but walking distance to several restaurants and lake. 5 min drive ($10-$12 Uber/Lift ride) to Heavenly shopping area/casinos. Room was spacious and new/modern touches.
Came for a brief stay, late check in was easy, room was cute, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nice view, friendly staff, and very quiet. I loved the kitchenette and fireplace. Somewhat limited parking, and just an FYI that there was just a shower, no tub in room. I didn't mind but some people like tubs on their vacay.
The staff was so pleasant. I stayed for the weekend with my husband and our dog. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious and they have all been remodeled. The continental breakfast was plenty and they even give complementary water bottles. The staff is also very nice. The only con we saw is that the walls are a little thin.
Nice place. Rooms are fairly small but very comfortable. Staff is very friendly- maybe too friendly. Location is in a lower end neighborhood but not unsafe. A lot of good restaurants a block or two away. Try Nepheles or Blue Angel- good stuff.
Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. clean room and had everything we needed. The lodge was within walking distance from the beach. Very convenient for us.

Deerfield Lodge is a perfect combination of modern boutique accommodations in a tranquil rustic setting. Large rooms, beautiful finishes, lux linens, helpful staff. Bonus - free snacks and bottled water in the room. Very welcoming in every way. Great location on Ski Run Blvd, 1/2 way between Lake Tahoe and Heavenly tram.
This hotel was absolutely fantastic. So modern with everything you'd want in a room. Brooks, our manager was so helpful, showed us to our room and explained everything we needed. Even gave us a great recommendation for dinner. We could walk to everything. We will never stay anywhere else when we are at south Tahoe.

The Deerfield Lodge attracted us because it's pet friendly, newly renovated with great room rates. The friendly staff called to tell us that we could check in early if we desired, which personifies their high caliber customer service. The recently renovated rooms are well appointed, have a working fireplace, comfortable beds, very clean and include complimentary coffee, tea and snacks along with excellent bath amenities. Our pets were welcome, in fact, they keep pet treats in the lobby. Rooms on the first floor open onto the back property, so easy access to take pets out. Easy to find location, excellent restaurants nearby.
Deerfield lodge is a great place to stay! By far the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. I would recommend this lodge to anyone going to the south Lake Tahoe area. The room was perfect, the mini kitchen came in handy, cozy balcony to sit outside to watch the snow falling and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Can't say enough great things about this place, will definitely be going back!
