2nd stay was ok

This was our second time to stay at this hotel. The staff is wonderful, but the “updates” are not very good. The biggest thing for me was there was not an electrical outlet in the bathroom. The room set up is very strange and there were no decorations/mirrors/painting on the walls. It is in a great location and a good price, but I don’t know if I would go there a 3rd time.

Room was outdated. Not enough mirrors. Didn't like the vanity being separated from the bath. Closet had no hooks or rack to hang clothes. Side doors nit easily accessed. Lobby not accessible after hour's. If the lobby is close after hours and the side doors not easily accessible, potential to be locked out.

We loved it being a block away from an Irish pub and right across the street from Veterans memorial park. But my bedroom was missing a door and the remote to the TV but other than that it was a great stay.

Nice try but in the end it feels like they "flipped" an old worn out hotel. The smell in the room was some kind of chemical trying to cover up what we think was a smoker. The smell was overpowering. It was clean and the touches they added were good. VERY convenient to the interstate so if you need a quick on and off the highway for the night, it's perfect.

The employees that we came in contact with were nice. We planned on exercising as we do at home, but the treadmill was broken. Breakfast was okay. We didn't sleep well because of rowdy people on our floor that slammed doors, laughed and talked extremely loudly.

Great location!

We had a great stay! The location was great for a couple reasons. It was an easy on and off Interstate 10 and across the street from the lake. There is a paved path along the lake which made both a great evening and morning walk. The breakfast was just mediocre.

Clean rooms, problematic smells.

This hotel has renovated rooms, which were very clean, and I appreciated that the windows could open. The hallways and the elevator smell truly awful, but luckily the rooms don’t have the same smell. They’ve made nice looking bathrooms but the shower has such bad water pressure that it’s hard to rinse shampoo off. All this said, it’s not an expensive hotel, but I can’t help but wonder if all the excellent reviews on T.A. might not be from actual guests (they are mostly from people where it’s their only review), so beware.

We arrived and were assigned a room. Upon entering we discovered the room was messy. The front desk guy, very kind man, gave us another room. Which again was dirty. He ended up giving us a suit, which was very kind. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was awesome. Thank you

This is our go to spot each time we visit Lake Charles. Its right across the street from the lake and its beautiful.

Confused

The room had recently been remodeled… by the lowest bidder. Floors were not clean, molding was not finished, paint on door and molding, the space by the air conditioning unit wasn’t even complete by the wall. The layout of the room was confusing and odd. The vanity was at the foot of the bed… giving no privacy. The center or the room was split with a half wall… leaving the tv blocked and not able to be turned toward the bed. I will say the bed was comfy but I won’t be back.

Just For A Night

The hotel was in a great location, our room was clean, it was quiet, the lobby was clean and the front desk. staff was amazing. Savannah was super friendly and super helpful. My biggest complaint about the room was the layout and the lack of accessories. There was not one single picture/painting on the wall, which made it not “homey”. There were no towel bars to hang up a wet towel and the location of the TV was not at all aligned with being able to watch TV in the comfort of a bed. I would stay here again!!
