## Neighborhood

Located in the peaceful area of Montinhos da Luz, the centre of Luz with all its shops, restaurants and facilities is just a stroll away. The historic centre of Lagos and award-winning golf courses are just a short drive away!

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

There is a bus stop nearby the quinta from where you can travel to Lagos. You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Great value for money. Hosts were always friendly and helpful. Communication was quick and we received a lot of useful info for trips, restaurants and co. The appartment is bright and cosy. There is everything you need. The pool is nice for refreshing after a hot day at the beach. Location is quiet and perfect for doing trips to Lagos, Sagres and many more. Would definitely recommend it!

Wir hatten bei unserem 10 tägigen Aufenthalt sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns jeden Wunsch erfüllten. Auch die Wohnung war sehr süß eingerichtet, sauber und praktisch. Der Pool groß und immer sehr sauber. In der Küche fanden wir das Nötigste und haben für uns nötige Dinge einfach ergänzt, denn der Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Strände sind mit dem Auto in ca 10-15 Minuten zu erreichen, zu Fuß braucht man entsprechend länger. Auch verschiedene Restaurantes erreicht man in Burgau nach etwas 20 Gehminuten auf einem sehr schönen Küstenwanderweg, den man übrigens sehr weit laufen kann und auch sollte. (Mal so als Tip) Wir haben unseren Sonnenschirm für die nachfolgenden Gäste in der Wohnung gelassen und ich hätte es toll gefunden, wenn es in der Wohnung auch Badehandtücher geben würde, denn die nehmen im Koffer immer seeehr viel Platz weg. Die Wohnung ist ein wenig hellhörig, aber wir hatten immer Glück mit den Nachbarn, sind da aber auch nicht so empfindlich. Alles in allem... wir würden unseren Urlaub dort wieder verbringen. Danke für die schöne Zeit Claudia und Thorsten aus Ganderkesee/ Niedersachsen ( Deutschland)
