I was very impressed with the hotel, staff and surroundings. I was staying for work, looking for a low price, CLEAN alternative and Extended Stay America Lafayette was a pleasant surprise.

I experience there nice kitchen and I had a chance to cook something

Hallways were hot and smelled weird. Room was ok.

It was ok it could have been a little more updated.

Not a bad place to stay for work. It's nothing special and expect to pay more for faster internet.

I made reservations and the room they reserved for me had not been cleaned. The next room they gave had stains on the wall, counter, and refrigerator. The toilet had black stuff all around it, there was trash under the bed, and early the next morning I woke up to housekeeping and another employee(maybe the manager) trying to get into my room.

I have been coming to this hotel for the past 4yrs and had been satisfied every time, but now they're raising the price without a single upgrade.

Everything in the hotel smelled. I reserved a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room and everything down to the towels reeked of smoke. All in all it was worth the money.

The location was great. The price was unbeatable and the rooms were nice for a one night stay.

The room left something to be desired. There was a weird stench throughout the room and the staff was okay, but I had to wait almost 10 minutes to get checked in because they were helping someone over the phone. Its always been my knowledge to help whoever is in the building first, phone second. There's was also a $50 incidental fee that was not mentioned when booking the hotel.

Room smelled funny, stained carpet, bottle tops on floor under desk. It was noisy, could hear kids crying and jumping around above me. The kitchenette sink had fruit peel in it from former guest. The fridge was clean and the staff were friendly.

Icky place. They could have at least vacuumed the carpet. Wouldn't go barefoot anywhere, even shower! Hope I don;t come home with bed bugs!! Bare bones staff and service for sure. Won't pick Extended Stay again.

The sink was full of old water that would not drain and the heater was broken. I asked if I could move rooms but the hotel night clerk said there were none available and assured me a refund if I could not stay. It was freezing so I found another hotel. When I returned in the morning, the hotel would not refund my money. Even if all these problems had not ensued, the hotel was a total dump and the staff was rude. Next time, I'm staying at the Ramada just a few blocks down.

It was like staying in a dirty bar after closing, we arrived Saturday afternoon to the front trash overflowing , the ashtrays overflowing and spilled, food all over the floors and vomit , none of this was cleaned until Monday. The room was a disaster !!!! The furniture it's in worst conditions that anything at goodwill, the smoke from cigarets overwhelming, ashes all over the floors and nobody care to help. The front desk was always empty and when they answer they said they could not do a thing to complain to ! Dirty rooms, nasty hotel! We had stayed at in many locations this one is the WORST ever.

I've stayed here many times over several years because I need a full-size fridge to freeze boudin. I've only been staying there the final night of every trip (to freeze it down) because the public areas are really grotty and the rooms all smell bad (mostly smoky). I'm glad they have a security guard often on hand because you do feel it is necessary. That said, the staff are nice, and the kitchens and rooms are otherwise clean and well-maintained.

This was the dirtiest, nastiest place I have ever seen. Checked in after midnight, had no other place to go but there. Pre-pay on line. Ended up sleeping in my car after I saw the Mattresses. Took a shower in the morning then left. Never again Will I stay there!

first the tub had a ring, the shower leaked and the commode was not very clean. To top it all off, I had to plunge the commode every time I used it. I told a couple of the desk clerks, I was told maintenance was not there, but, they send someone to check it out, no one showed up. Than, I was offered the key to another room to use the commode, I only had one more night, and it was just me, so I thought I could deal with it until someone came to resolve the problem. Still, no one came.

This was by far the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. I arrived late and the front desk clerk was helpful and polite, but the condition of the hotel was atrocious. I've never been in a hotel room that was that dirty. There were severe stains on both the comforter and cover. There was a hair on every surface of the room; in the bed, on the countertop, in the shower, in the sink, and under the sheets (I was checking for bedbugs). All the doors had visible dark spots from dirty hands and the carpet in both the room and hallway had stains. The toilet was dirty as was the shower and sink and I didn't even check the kitchenette. I'll never stay in another Extended Stay again.

I came to town to go to Local College basketball game. This hotel is right in the middle of everything Lafayette has to offer

I had called ahead to arrange key pickup but was able to get there before staff left(11:00) pm. If I hadn't I don't know if I would have been able to get key! After coming back from eating the parking lot and entrance was dark and parking lot seemed like a hang out lot!!
