We travelled as a couple on a stormy long weekend (three nights)and arrived late evening. The rooms are large and comfortable but the junior suite on the top floor was definitely worth the extra. It is two of the already large rooms and is comfortable and spacious. For dining in the room there is a large table and a comfy sofa for relaxing afterward and the bed is huge Emperor size with lovely linen. The bathroom and towels were good even though there were no robes or slippers even if there were quality paraffin free products. For the Brits no kettle to make tea is always a huge problem in Europe and in this hotel with NO SERVICE at all between 2 to 7 the lack of even a jug of hot water to make tea on a cold and magnificently stormy afternoon was approaching unforgivable. We were inventive and discovered the coffee machine in the lobby had a setting that could be persuaded to provide a cup of hot water! The views on both sides of the hotel above the second floor are very good and we loved the opening windows, something getting rarer in hermetically sealed hotels, and we needed it to get rid of the smell of tobacco that struck you as soon as we opened the door to the room. The staff were helpful and efficient .... but lacked the spirit of a very good hotel that this surely was and could be again with just a little more effort. Perhaps that's reflected in the price, for it was a real bargain, less that half the price of a similar room in town with much poorer views. We loved the 35 minute walk back from eating some great Galician food in town, it made the digestion so much easier, but taxis are plentiful and reasonable and the bus stops just outside. Thank God for the little local bar around the corner from the hotel who gave us a huge omelette sandwich and two beers just after 11.30pm the night we arrived for the hotel was packed up for the night. We would stay again... at that price! .... and hope the room would be fresher next time. The little cove nearby and the larger beach and pools just a few minutes walk away would make this a great place to stay for anyone who loves city visits but wants a relax at the beach too. For the city is much larger than you expect with an exceptional further bay and beach on the other side of the isthmus. There are some great local Tapas bars and sophisticated cafes with great teas and coffees and amazing sweet confections alongside a wide range of restaurants to suit every taste and pocket. Some of the pizza by the piece places sell great fresh food! Just a little extra from the hotel would make a big difference! For example ... the rain was very heavy and the water made a great invisible puddle just at the bottom of the steps to the entrance. For two days nobody bothered to move that away and .... everybody got wet feet! Come on local managers ..... never to be seen ... pull your fingers out! You have a diamond and you need to clear away the rough!

Huge room and bathroom with separate living/dining room meant great value for us. This hotel is modern not far from Torre de Hercules. Buses stop outside or jump in a taxi to town. Right outside there is a lovely little cove though so we had a few hours on the beach. Clean and very comfortable huge bed and bathroom well equipped. Breakfast buffet offers big choice of hot and cold food. Slight drawback for me is coffee is from a machine but that's personal taste and had been used to fresh coffee in all other hotels we stayed in. Very friendly helpful staff.

We had a very nice stay in la Coruna. Eurostars Ciudad de la Coruna was very welcoming and the staff very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located with a few small beaches nearby. The tower of Hercules is nearby and even closer is a beautiful walk along the art installations on the rock coastline. Spectacular views

The hotel is easily accessible by car by driving through the Avena Porto tunnel and following the perimeter road of the peninsula.  There was ample lot and street parking for free.  We had a standard double with a sea view, in fact the curving design of the hotel seemed to give all rooms a sea view of some kind.  The room itself was clean with basic amenities and a very nice bath .  The dinner was good, the breakfast buffet was great and cheap.  The best part was probably the walk out access to the beach and large sculpture park as well as the super helpful and friendly front desk staff, in our case Mercedes E and Inés on September 25th day and evening.

This hotel had a little beach only about 300 meters away from the front door and a larger and patrolled one just a few hundred meters more. Also very close is the 1st Century Hercules Lighthouse. There are many beautiful ocean walks that you can start from the hotel. The bed was a King and excellent - unlike many we experienced in Spain and Portugal. Plenty of traditional, inexpensive and great cafes nearby. The only downside was the mediocre (for an Australian) breakfast in the hotel that they charged €9 per person for.

We loved our stay! Comfy beds, spacious room, and tub for a relaxing bath. The breakfast was good, service was great and the location was brilliant! We wanted to be near the sea and thoroughly enjoyed the intimate little beach just across the road~with a shower, the lovely walk to the Torre de Hercules and the bigger beaches on either side of us. Easy taxi or bus to historic district.

Great location, clean, modern room with mini fridge. Outstanding view. Lovely personnel. Unfortunately, the air con did not work. We opened the window, but it was still mighty warm. There is no need to eat at the hotel - there are lots of local restaurants and coffee shops nearby in the town. Lovely stay.

I know that in Spain is typical to have late dinners, though in this hotel room service is also available from 19:30 pm, and since the hotel is far and isolated there is no way you have anything to eat besides chips in the minibar. Also the other day I requested for iron and they realized in 30 minutes that all of them are taken, so I was almost late because of this. It looks like they have one iron for whole hotel, because it didn't look full. I barely so anyone at the breakfast or even had breakfast alone in the restaurant. Eventually when they left the iron in my room, there was no ironing desk, so how was I supposed to iron? 😏

The most beautiful city in Northern Spain. The hotel is near a path that goes around the cost with rocks and hidden beaches to Hercules tower and to the city with glassed-in balconies. Great for walking around and for dining.

The perfect place to relax in Coruna, with a unique ocean rumor and a hidden garden of marvels.. Walking distant of the oldest lighthouse in the world (functioning). Hercules Tower offers a clear view of Coruna's port and the bay.
